My name is Gabriel, I'm 17 years old, and I'm a 12th-grade student at Loulé Secondary School. I've always enjoyed programming and coding, so I'm thrilled to have this opportunity with the Erasmus+ Project! I love staying updated with the latest trends and am always eager to learn. I enjoy engaging in conversations with people too.
Additionally, I can cook simple pasta and turkey meat, so if my classmates don't mind having that every day, they can count on me! Just kidding, of course.
One thing that really intensified my desire for this experience was the opportunity to live for a short period in a completely different country, without my parents. Living on my own, doing what I love, which is programming, will give me a taste of what I will experience in the future. I believe this will help me grow as a person and teach me new responsibilities.
As I explored more about Lithuania, I came across the old flag that includes the coat of arms, featuring a mounted knight at the center. I discovered that this coat of arms was used to symbolize significant events, such as during the Soviet Period and the Restoration of Independence. However, it was decided to remove the coat of arms in favor of a simpler symbol that is more directly linked to contemporary Lithuanian national identity.
One dish called 'Kibinai' really caught my attention. These pastries, of Tatar origin, can be filled with meat, mushrooms, or even sweets, and are particularly popular in the historic city of Trakai.
There's also another dish called "Cepelinai" that I'm eager to try. Known as "zeppelins" due to their oval shape, this dish is made from potato dough stuffed with meat, mushrooms, or cottage cheese and is often served with sour cream sauce and crispy bacon. It seemed like something new and definitely didn't seem like a bad idea to me.

EAfter having experienced this Erasmus+ challenge, I would like to thank everyone who made it possible, especially my teachers Duarte Duarte, Paulo Ribeiro, and Eglé. It was a unique experience, and whether we like it or not, it increases our maturity and experience in everyday life.
