Today we arrived at Vilnius, after a two flights. We left the airport at around 8 AM and made our way to the London Airport. Then, from there, we bought some cheap lunch in the airport and got ready for our next and final flight : Vilnius. 

The plane flight went well, fortunately, and the sandwich I bought was so tasty for no reason. I wanted to sleep a bit as well, but I couldn't.

I was very excited to see snow, and I did! It was also very cold outside, and my legs are very sore from walking around all day...

We had dinner at Bulldog Burgers, and their burgers were amazing!

Then, we went back to our hotel. It is so comfy in there!

We started our day off with a refreshing breakfast and we got ready to visit Vilnius, a beautiful city covered in mesmerizing snow.

We got into a bus and started heading off to Kaunas, where we would be staying for the rest of our trip. Then, we left our bags in our rooms and started looking for a place to eat.

Today, three of us woke up exceptionally early... to do laundry! I had to wash some clothes so two friends of mine tagged along with me, and we washed our clothes together.

After doing laundry and having breakfast we made our way to Kaunas Information Technology School (Kauno Informacinių technologijų mokykla). We had the presentation the previous day, so today we got started in setting up our workspace.

This morning we went to M. K. Čiurlionis National Art Museum, and saw so many beautiful paintings. It was so fun to learn about Lithuanian culture!

Today I woke up later than usual 'cause weekend, and we cooked ourselves lunch. We had pasta with sausages.

Then we hung out a bit more and went to Akropolis to eat dinner and buy groceries.

17/12/2023

We felt lazy today because it's a Sunday, so we didn't do much in the morning besides cook ourselves lunch. We had pasta with chicken, yummy! We all ate together as we always do.

In the afternoon, me, Bruno and Santiago decided to meet up with a student from KITM, and we hung out at the mall. We then settled at a coffee shop there, called Caffeine. I got a brownie and Santi got a chocolate muffin. Bruno ate both (He stole our food). We also went to a grocery store there and got some Kvass, and since we were already there we got some more stuff that we needed back at the apartment (aka bread, we eat it too much).

Then, we took a bus back and walked around Kaunas. There were so many pretty lights, it looked so nice!

We walked around a bit more, and on our way back we got more groceries (aka water, because we drink it a lot, thankfully). So far, I was the one who had been carrying the bag with the previous groceries, so I gave the bag to Santi, but he REFUSED to carry it because it was too heavy. However Bruno did me a favor and carried it. On top of that, we had 3 water jugs to carry, and a Coca-Cola bottle because Santi wanted it 🙄, so I carried a water jug AND the bottle. 

But thankfully we got home eventually and rested.

We then had a bunch of sushi for dinner :D

Today we tried to go by bus to KITM School, and it went well. We got there a bit earlier as we usually do, so that was nice!

Then we started working on the ACTUAL project. Basically the plan is to make a kind of AI, but not really. Let me Explain:

 Essentially we will make our own website where the AI will be located at, and then make it so we can use it as if it were Chat-GPT, for example. But we're not going to make our AI from scratch, because that would take months, if not years! So our AI will have fixed and default responses for each prompt.

This is me testing some stuff out and breaking the AI haha

When it was time for our lunch break we went to the nearest grocery store and got ourselves some garlic bread, YUM!

After it was over we headed back to our class and kept on working.

When it was time to leave, we decided to walk back home, instead of taking the bus again (but some of us were not happy with that decision (*cough* Bruno *cough* Santiago)).

On our way home I got the cutest hairpin, it's so beautiful and shiny!!!

When we got home we relaxed for a bit until it was time to have dinner.

As soon as it was time, we headed off to Bernelių Užeiga as usual.

Today me, Leandro and Arturo woke up exceptionally early (6 AM) to do laundry, because again, DISCOUNTS!!

Unfortunately there were already people using the machines so we had to wait like 40 mins to start doing our laundry. In the meantime, I played some games with Leandro and watched YouTube.

When we got done with our laundry it was already like 9 AM, it takes so long to wash clothes...

At around 11:30 AM we met up at KITM to go see a tech company in Vilnius. At around 1h later we started heading to the capital (which was 2h away) so I slept during the way there.

When we arrived, we got to see Lithuania's biggest data center, and it was sooo cool! It's name is Baltneta.

Apparently, it is the biggest, safest and most important data center in Lithuania. It has level 3 security, and is prepared for fires, floods and breaking-ins, of course. It has coolers placed outside to cool down all the servers running 24/7. There is also two buildings attached together by one hallway, where one of them was built in 2011 and the other in 2018. 

And fun fact! They hold all data for Vinted, a website for selling old clothing items, that was also made by lithuanians!!!

I wish we could've taken pictures inside but because of their level 3 security award we weren't able to. However, it was still all worth it!

We arrived at Kaunas at around 4 PM, and a lot of us were starving and went to get pizza/burgers, but I decided to just settle for a bowl of cereal back home. 

After a while,  it was time we head over to our usual restaurant and eat some really tasty food.

Today I woke up super tired, but it is what it is!!

We went to school by bus and got there early, as usual. We kept on working on our project again, and I made progress.

While we were working in the morning, Irma (one of the people at KITM that helped make this Erasmus possible) gave us a lollipop! She is very nice 😊

At 1 PM our lunch break started and we headed over to a nearby grocery store to get some cheap lunch. I bought a puff pastry pizza and a My Little Pony themed strawberry juice. There was a toy with the drink as well!

When we got back to the classroom we kept on working on our AI project. I was getting a weird error so I started focusing on the appearance of the website, rather than focusing on the functionalities of it.

After it was time to leave, some of us took the bus home (me included). When we arrived at our stop we walked around the city because Raul wanted to check out the store we went to yesterday (KuroNeko). After that Santi and Bruno left first and went on ahead while me, Raul and Leandro kept on checking out the store. On our way home I also bought a Kaunas souvenir because my mom likes them.

After some hours of relaxing at home, we had to go get ready to eat dinner. This is what we ate:

Today I woke up suuuper refreshed because I was finally able to break my 2-day streak of not sleeping well. Either way, I got ready to start my day and keep on working on our project at KITM.

We went to school by bus again, and we got there just on time because we left our apartment late.

We walked in our classroom and started working.

Then, we had lunch at Casa Della Pasta again, and got 2 BIG pizzas. One was called Regina and the other Bolognese. Sooo tasty!! I also had tiramisú because it's so tasty 😋

After our fulfilling lunch, we went back to our classrooms and work on the API/Website. I decided to start working on the appearance of the website for now because I like to design my websites. I think it looks pretty cool so far, I can't wait to see it work properly!

After class, we headed off to a separate building of KITM once again to attend a D&D session with some current and ex-students of the school. Today, we had a special session, a Christmas session! We roleplayed as Santa's little helpers and were divided into three groups: The healers, the damage dealers and the tanks. I was in the tanks group. Every group shared stats so it would be easier, since a lot of people joined.

Basically, the story was:

Santa wanted to try out his sleigh and make sure everything was ready for Christmas night, so he could deliver presents to everyone in the world. We hopped on the sleigh with him and started our journey. However, we were acting very naughty and started playing with Santa's gift sack, and accidentally put it over his eyes, which made him let go of the leashes on the reindeer. Because of this, the reindeer kept on running and we fell. 

Then, we woke up slowly from the fall and helped Santa. When Santa finally woke up, he was mad but said he would forgive us if we gave him back his magical gift sack, his reindeers and his magical powder(that helped the reindeers fly). So, we separated into the three groups and went to look for the items. The healers went to look for the magic powder, the damage dealers went to look for magical sack and us tanks went to look for the reindeers.

We played and enjoyed our time there, and when the game ended they gave each other gifts because they had done secret Santa. And surprisingly one of the students there thought of us and gave us a box of Kauna chocolates each! The teacher that played D&D with us also gave us gifts from KuroNeko, that included a keychain, a sticker and a noodle pack! I was so happy... I'm glad I'm making friends here :D 

We even ate cheesecake!!! I loved today!

After all of that, we went back home by bus, and enjoyed the little time we had left before we had to head over to Bernelių Užeiga.

Unfortunately, they kind of forgot our agreement annnnd we had to wait for food for like 40 mins..? So, that was that. But it was kinda worth it!

Today we had to wake up earlier than usual, since we were going to Vilnius again. This time we went to BlueBridge, a tech company.

We had to wake up at around 6-7 AM since our driver would be waiting for us at a nearby parking lot at 8 AM. I was sooo tired and just wanted to sleep more but it is what it is! I got ready and we made our way to the previously agreed upon location. 

Unfortunately though, Santi noticed he had forgot his bag at home, and since it was already some minutes past 8 we thought it was best to not go get it back. However, since the driver was taking a while to arrive, I just told him to go for it. So he ran home with Bruno to get his bag back. Thankfully they came just in time, so all was good.

After that we started heading to Vilnius. Since I was tired I slept for most of the car ride.

When we got there, it was around 9:30 AM, and since the meeting was at 10, me, Santi and Bruno decided to just chill at a nearby coffee shop.

After a refreshing coffee, we made our way back into the building, to know more about BlueBridge.

When we arrived to meet up inside the company's lobby, we took an elevator up. We reached our floor and then got into a room where we met a woman who greeted us, and showed us a closet inside the same room to put our jackets in. When we got done taking our jackets off we went to another room just outside of that one. The room was prepared for meetings, so it had one of those long meeting tables, with very very comfortable chairs. We were greeted once again, and this time it was a man. He would be the one explaining to us what BlueBridge does and give us some more info about his field.

He explained a lot of stuff to us and even answered some of our questions! Unfortunately I couldn't think of any at the moment :(

After that, we made our way back into the car, and got ready to explore some more of Vilnius. We decided upon going to Trakai, a beautiful castle that is also a museum!

It took a bit to get there, but when we did, we got out of the car and GOD. IT WAS COLD. Not only was the temperature low, but we were close to a river/lake, so it made it worse. Either way, we started walking to the castle.

The way there was pretty, it had some shops on the main land with souvenirs and other knickknacks. After those there were bridges that led to the little island in the middle of the lake. We made our way there, and reached the Trakai. We went in and payed the entry fee, since it was a museum. It was 5 euros, not bad! 

We started exploring and immediatly there was an outside area full of..."Torture" devices? They were used to arrest people and most likely bring them in or out of the castle. Santi got in all of them 😂

After we had some fun, we started heading inside the actual rooms inside the castle. They were full of items that were located inside the castle, when it used to be habited by people. From sculptures and painting to fans and pocket mirrors, all the rooms were full of so many interesting items! They all looked so prestige and rich, and most importantly, beautiful! One of the items that catched my eye the most was a mini chest (about the size of a palm) that was very shiny and rainbow-ish. It looked so so so pretty! I wish I could've had one myself :')

We also found a well in a separate room, with a certain president stuck in it. There were also a bunch of donations down there, haha.

We kept on exploring the castle, and kept on looking at interesting items and expositions. We then left that side of the castle and headed off to another side of it, and saw a lot of cool things!

We saw a little mouse, explaining to us some of the things that the museum was showing, and on the room next to it had an explanation as well! It was very cool.

After that we kept on walking around the castle, appreciating all the culture and history right before our eyes. I even got a little coin from a machine on the top floor, with Trakai on it!

When we got done exploring Trakai, we had another quick look at the local shops that sold souvenirs and other fun-looking items, and had lunch at a nearby restaurant. I got a Wagyu burger, and so did everyone on the same table as me, haha.

After our looooong morning was over, we started heading home. 

When we got home, we just relaxed until it was time to have dinner. Some time later, we got up from our very comfy beds and walked all the way to our usual restaurant, and had some delicious dinner!

It was also snowing tonight, and it looked soooo cool.

23/12/2023

Today I woke up later because it's SATURDAY!!!!!! I didn't really have breakfast, at least not a proper one. I only had breakfast because I got very dizzy out of nowhere so I just ate leftover brownies. 

I hung out a bit with Santi and Bruno, and then took a shower. After that, I started to help Leandro with the lunch. We made omelets! Surprisingly, or not much so, my omelets taste very nice!

At around 2:30 PM we started getting ready to head out. We had decided the previous day that we were going to go have fun at a trampoline place, so that's where we went. 

During our bus ride there, some inspectors came inside the bus and started to check for everyone's tickets. I showed mine that I had bought with the app Žiogas, and because I had a student discount they asked me for my student ID card. I showed it to them, but since it was international they got mad and made us pay 1 euro extra. I didn't mind paying more, but they were so rude to us... I'm sorry for being an international student I guess. Because of this, we all took our student discounts from our apps, so now we pay a bit more. Sad but it happens.

Either way, after we left the bus we made our way to the trampolines. When we got there, a person at the counter said we needed an adult with us, so we were kind of done for.

HOWEVER, I suggested the idea of asking a mom or dad at the trampolines to sign the paper for us, and Arturo actually did that.

After signing the papers with our full names and after that dad helping us, we payed the fee and the woman at the counter gave us some keys, so we could store our goods inside the lockers they provided. Some of us undressed in a nearby stall, and others started storing stuff in lockers. When we got ready, we took our shoes off and got ready to have fun!

Before we were able to get in though, a staff there explained to us the rules which were simple and obvious, like only one person was allowed to be in a single trampoline at once, and to not harm other kids, etc etc, and also be careful with backflips. After that, we all ran into the trampolines and started having fun!

We were all jumping, running, you name it! It made me so tired...

After a bit I took a break and ate so chips with Santi and Bruno, and I also bought a Fanta can and a coconut popsicle. 

After my snack break I played a bit of air hockey with Santi and I got owned so bad...I thought I was better at it 😭

After that humiliating moment I went back to the trampolines.

When it was time to go, we left and went straight to a McDonald's to have a quick and cheap dinner. On the way there I also found a very pretty Christmas tree! It was also snowing on the way there so it was very fun. I had a McCrispy and an orange juice, yum yum! We then went back home by bus.

24/12/2023

When I woke up today I still had a headache, a bad one. I was struggling a lot but I made it through somehow.

When I was feeling way better, I started preparing lunch along with Leandro. We decided to cook breaded chicken with noodles. Raul cooked the noodles and Leandro and Tomás helped me cook the chicken. I also cut some apple for all of us, since we didn't fry much chicken.

When lunch was ready, we set the table and ate together.

After that we hung out a bit more. We decided to stay home since it was already dark (4 PM) after we finished eating lunch, so we didn't do anything worth mentioning.

A bit later we started preparing dinner, and Santi made carbonara for us. It was pretty tasty yum yum.

After that we enjoyed our time together and waited for midnight. We played games, hung out and overall enjoyed our time together!

Some of us insisted on staying up VERY late, like 'til morning kind of late. So, so far it's 2 AM and I'm still going strong, but I don't wanna stay up for that long. Either way, I enjoyed today a lot and I'm glad everyone had a good time :D

25/12/2023

Today we woke up late again because of yesterday, and since everyone was lazy to cook, Raul found out that there was a SINGLE McDonald's establishment open, so we ordered takeway from there. I ordered a McCrispy with apple juice, yum!!!

After that, we enjoyed the rest of our day inside, of course. We hung out, played games and rested a bunch. I had a lot of fun! We didn't do anything really interesting today, but at the end of the day I went out with Tomás and Santi, to take a walk and have a breather.

We walked around a big street full of stores near our house, and  kept on walking until we reached a HUGE Christmas tree! It was very bright, and some big buildings around it had patterns projected on them. Around the tree, there were lots of stores, shaped like igloos.

We looked around all the shops and went inside one that sold waffles! We all had one.

After eating the delicious waffles, we went home, to cook dinner. I made some fried chicken with rice, and Raul made a sauce. It tasted okay.

Today we woke up late ONCE AGAIN, and as soon as I did we had to get going, so I got ready as fast as I could. After we were all ready we made our way to a bus stop.

When we got there we waited for our bus to arrive and got in. Unfortunately it was one of the smaller ones so we barely had any room to move. Not to mention it was full to the brim, so even worse.

When we reached our stop though (finally!) I was one of the last people to get out, so I almost got stuck there because the bus driver closed the door on me, but thankfully I still got out. Phew, what a scare.

Then we started heading to a bus station with a mall attached to it. We bought tickets asap, and took advantage of a mall being there and bought some quick food to go, like some sandwiches and even ice cream. We had lunch on the waiting room lol. 

When it was time to head off, we got on the bus and made our way to Alytus. I slept the whole way there haha.

When we arrived, we called a Bolt and headed off to a museum. But guess what????? IT WAS CLOSED. OH MY GOD. It was so sad because on Google it said it was open, but apparently it wasn't. What a shame. 

After that happened, we explored the area and found a little park.

We then started looking for a place to eat, and decided on pizza. BUT GUESS WHAT. IT WAS CLOSED AGAIN! But it was fine since there was another pizza place open across the street. 

We went there, and had yummy pizzas. I shared mine with Santi and Bruno.

After that we walked around a bit more, and found another park. It even had a playground and a monument! Although, since it was raining, we didn't stay there for long and called a Bolt back to the bus station in Alytus.

When we got there we bought bus tickets back to Kaunas, and waited for the time to board the bus. When it was time, we got into the bus and I once again slept during most of the ride.

When we got to the bus station in Kaunas, some of us wanted to call another Bolt back home, but it was getting expensive, so we just walked home since it was only 30 minutes from home. It was very cold outside, but we made it back safely. The streets on the way home looked very pretty..

27/12/2023

Today was a normal day overall! It was calm, and I had a good time. We went to school by foot, because some of us didn't have any money left on the bus app, and got there in time. We hung out, worked, and overall enjoyed our morning. I kept on working on the project, as usual, and unfortunately I was having a bit of a hard time trying to fully understand how API's work, but Santi helped me a bit so it's not all bad. I really want to understand them completely one day. Back to the project, I added new stuff to the website where the AI will be hosted, and worked on the API part as well.

At lunchtime we went to Sylas, a nearby grocery store, and bought some cheap sandwiches to eat. They were surprisingly fulfilling! I also found a box of chocolates of one of the main artists at the first museum we went to.

When we got back to the classroom, we kept on working, and I kept on making progress.

When class was over, we went back home by foot, and on the way there we went to a cheap shop nearby to look at some stuff. I bought a new hairclip (yes a new one, I love them).

Then, I stopped by Tiger with Santi to look at stuff, because I love the little things they sell! So creative!

On the way home I also stopped by Drogas, a store that sells beauty products! I bought a new concealer, since mine isn't perfect, and I also bought some beauty masks, because I felt like having a spa day.

We all went home, and relaxed until it was finally time to eat dinner. They lead us to a "secret" room downstairs, like VIP, since the whole restaurant was as full as can be. It was very calm there, and it looked very cool.

 AND ALSO! At the entrance was the fluffiest cutest doggo just laying down next to a table! It looked soooo cute!!! It looked like a Wooly Shiba, sooo cute!!!

After that, we ALL bought donuts! They tasted very nice!

Annnd when I got home I put on the skincare masks and forced Santi to put one on too 😁

Today my ALARM DIDN'T RING!!!!!!! But I got ready just in time, and we had to took the bus, obviously.

We got there juuuust in time, and went straight to work. I made A BUNCH of progress on the website's appearance today, but you can't see yet!!!!! I promise it will be worth the wait though.

For lunch, we went to a nearby restaurant called Bistro, and I ate a chicken sandwich! It was probably in my top 3 best sandwiches I've ever ate in my whole life. The bread was astonishingly amazing. Probably one of the best in the whole galaxy. It took, quite literally, my taste buds on the most exquisite flavors in existence. BUUTTT they took a long time to bring us our food so..... and we kind of got late....so... It was ok.

Anywayyys, I went straight back to work and did my best!

When it was time to leave, we bought some stuff at Sylas and went home by bus, 'cause, why not?

When we got home I spent most of my time drawing, until it was time to go have dinner once again. BUT, when it was time to leave, I couldn't find my keys literally anywhere! I was so worried, but I eventually gave up, otherwise we would've arrived late at our dinner time. And guess what. When I was about to open the door to go outside, I thought about reaching for my pocket annnnd... there it was. They were there the whole time.

Either way, we went to our restaurant. When we got there, they were full again, and a waiter showed us the way downstairs again. This time we sat in an even more VIP room (at least it looked more prestige). But, another waiter had already set the table for us upstairs so we went there instead..Such a shame :(

Either way, the food today was goood!

After dinner we went home and had a videocall with our teachers, Paulo Ribeiro and Duarte Duarte. 

29/12/2023

Today  we went to school as we normally do, of course, and continued working on our dear project. The teacher also explained to us how the image generation AI and the object detection AI API's, in case we have time to work on those.

So we kept on doing our thing! I focused more on the appearance part once again, because it's just easier to deal with.

I had a coffee and snacked on some sweets during the whole morning.

However, I had HORRIBLE, UNBEARABLE and ANNOYING cramps out of nowhere??? I also felt kind of nauseous literally out of the blue. So my morning was completely ruined after that.

A bit of suffering later, we had to go have lunch. We went to the same place as yesterday, since the bread was AMAZING last time. Because I didn't want to be boring, I ordered a smoked salmon sandwich instead of having the same one I did yesterday. HOWEVER. It was honestly a recipe for disaster.

The sandwich tasted so cloying and nauseating, that I had an even bigger urge to puke than I had before. I could only eat like half of it. GOD.

Either way, we made it back to school in time, and went back to work. And by went I mean THEY went back to work, because I couldn't think straight at that point, so I just accepted my fate and tried to rest on my desk, in hopes of relieving my pain.

After a bit of resting, we had to leave, because we had to visit a museum today. So, we starting heading to the War Museum.

We got there and starting exploring! We saw a lot of cool things, and I even got to hold some guns. I also dressed up as a soldier! Don't I look threatning?

After the museum, we went back home, and then to our usual restaurant to have dinner.

30/12/2023

Today we woke up at 5 AM. YES, 5 AM. Well, some of us didn't. Because they didn't wake up with the alarm, so we left home kind of late. But, why wake up so early?? Well, because we were going to Vilnius and we were going to explore some museums, so we had to wake up very early.

When we did leave our home, we took an autobus to the train station, and bought our tickets. We got 1st class 😎

We were almost running late for the train, so we RAN there, and made it in time. We sat down and enjoyed our ride. We were all very tired, including me, so I took a quick nap.

When we finally arrived, after 1h30m, we went to have breakfast at a nearby McDonalds. I had a croissant and a coffee. After a quick and refreshing snack, we made our way to our first museum.

Today we woke up so very late, because we were oh so tired yesterday. AND. Today's a SpEcIaL day today!!!! It's Raul's birthday today! We got everything ready today for his birthday party, and we bought all the stuff behind his back, so we couldn't wait to surprise him.

For lunch, we ate some pasta with ketchup. Yes, we were very lazy. 

In the afternoon, we went to a PC house, full of gaming equipment! We played some games together for two hours. 

After having fun, we split up: Raul, Tomás and Arturo went to Akropolis, and me, Bruno, Santi and Leandro went to get some last-minute preparations for the surprise party.

When we got our sweets ready, we went back home and started preparing. We started with the balloons, that spelled "Happy Birthday". We filled them up, while Santi cleaned the dishes, as a birthday present😁

We put on birthday hats as well, as put up the balloons against the wall.  UNFORTUNATELY though, we weren't having enough time to get things ready before Raul came back home, so Bruno went on the most important mission of his life - distract Raul a bit more. So, we sent him on his mission when we saw them come back home.

While Bruno was distracting him, we kept on preparing the surprise party, including writing the birthday cards and cleaning up the room a bit. 

When we got notified that they were coming back home, we got ready, and sat in the dark, waiting for him to open the door to his room. And then, he did, and we surprised him!!!!

We all started having a blast, and even ordered 4 big pizzas. We ate them all together, and when Raul least expected it, we brought out his birthday cake singing to him! And then we ate it together, and enjoyed our time together.

Today, we woke up super late again, and everyone was lazy to cook, so we walked to a ramen shop, and ate THE TASTIEST RAMEN EVER. It was so good for no reason, not even kidding. The pork was BEYOND godly. And the noodles????? AMAZING.

After that, we walked around our town a bit, and explored some less lively parts of it. We even started planning Unfortunately we didn't up doing up anything meaningful, but we spent time together and relaxed, since it was our day off.

We all went back home, but I immediately had to leave, since I had a lot of clothes to wash. Santi came with me as well, and we spent basically our whole afternoon at the laundry shop. While we were there, a man appeared, asking for help with the washing machines. I helped him, and we talked for a bit after. He was Turkish, and he was in Lithuania with his wife and kid. He was very nice and he even asked for my reccomendation on places to eat, but he didn't like any of my suggestions😭I'm sorry sir😭. At some point I craved a Fanta, so Santi went and grabbed one for me, at the nearest McDonald's. When he came back, our wash cycles were finished, so we put them to dry and waited 30 mins more. After that, I folded my clothes and we left.

At the end of the day, we were supposed to cook, but we had to unfreeze meat, so we just all settled for a bowl of cereal.

Santi even gave us an API lesson at the end of the day, so it was very helpful.

02/01/2023

Today we went to school as supposed to, and got there early. I started working on the project, feeling motivated because of yesterday's lesson. I continued the backend of the project, and, with Santi's huge help, I made progress.

For lunch, we went to Sylas, and bought some sandwiches. Since it was cold however, we asked very politely to eat inside our classroom. and our teacher, Titas, let us thankfully.

Then we went back to working. I wish I made more progress, but I'm unfortunately kind of stuck, since I never worked with API's before.

After we left our class, we went straight to an animal exposition, near our house. It was so interesting!

The exposition was full of different species, ranging from butterflies to seals!! I really liked exploring the museum, and I took lots of pictures of it.

After the museum, we went straight home, and chilled. At around 6:40PM we started going to our restaurant, and this time they served us spicy food??? It was alright but too spicy for me.

After eating, we decided to take a walk and enjoy the city ambience during nighttime. We went to a place with the huge Christmas tree, and spent the night there. We had some sweets, had fun and even got on some wooden horses!

The city looked amazing while dark outside, and there was snow on the ground as well, so a big bonus! After having for for about 30 mins, we left and went home to sleep.

03/01/2023

Today we went to school and enjoyed our last class there. Unfortunately, I didn't finish my project, since I never worked with API's before, however, I do plan to finish it as soon as possible. Either way, I still made some progress.

For lunch, we went to Casa Della Pasta, and ordered pizza. I wasn't too hungry, so I didn't eat much.

After lunch we got back to the classroom, we kept on working. I made a bit more progress, yay.

After that, we left the classroom, and made our way to the nearest bus stop, because we were planning to visit KGB Bunker. It was around 20-30 mins from bus, and it was veryyy cold outside. When we got out of the bus, we started walking towards the bunker, and on our way there, we saw kitties inside of a vet 😭. They looked so cute, and they were just chilling on their little cat trees. SO CUTE!!!

Either way, we kept on walking and there was so much snow on the pavement. I love snow. Especially when it's a lot of it 😍

Anyways, I stepped on all the piles of snow I found. 

When we got to the entrance of of the bunker, the door was locked. There was a phone number on the door, so we could call it if the door ever was locked. And since it was, we of course made Raul call it. Thankfully someone picked up, but there wasn't anyone inside the bunker to open the door for us. So, after being on the phone with the guy for 10 mins, we decided to just leave, and go somewhere near where we could spend time. Raul noticed a sign pointing towards a Racing Karts place, so we just went there instead. 

Inside of it there were some couches and a glass wall separating that room and the racing course.

I didn't feel well enough to get in those karts, so I just sat in the couches as if I was a mom being forced to bring her kids there.

They got in and started racing, and it looked kind of cool actually. I just chatted with Bruno and Santi the whole time though.

Either way, they didn't even come out as top 5, so I felt like a disappointed mother this time.

When we left, we went straight out of the building, and went to our bus stop. On the way there though, we passed by the kitty vet house, and the people working there saw us looking through the glass and playing with the cats, so they let one of them out, and we pet it like crazyyy!! It was so fluffy and sweet, it kept rubbing on our legs 😭

Well, we had to go unfortunately, so we got in our bus and left. After that, we had to go Bernelių užeiga since it was almost 7PM, so we just directly walked there. On the way there though, we went to a donut shop and got some donuts. We only ate them after dinner though.
