Bordado

Bordado is special embroidery on napkins, placemats, tablecloths, clothes and other items for the home. You find bordado in all Mexican states. Some styles are simple and sometimes the styles are very complicated. For tablecloths, the bordado is very complicated and ornate. Shawls “rebosos artesanales” often have bordado with many colors and designs. Many people in Mexico wear the rebosos artesanales. Bordado can be very expensive.
