About The Festival
The Charlottesville Festival of Cultures is a space where all can meet, share in and learn about each other’s cultures. This family-friendly event is virtual this year and includes music, dance, cultural presentations and storytelling through permanent exhibits, interactive discussions and engaging performances. The event is an opportunity to build bridges of understanding between new Americans and established residents and between different cultures residing in our community.
Explore the Cultural Exhibits, Live Events and Community Collaborations offered . The Festival, now in its seventeenth year, is FREE and open to the public. Organized by the Thomas Jefferson Adult and Career Education (TJACE) Program at Piedmont Virginia Community College, the Festival is made possible through the involvement and support of many additional individuals and organizations in the community.

Special Thanks
As our first virtual event in 17 years, the Festival of Cultures faced a daunting challenge this year. The event was only made possible with the help of a generous, caring, and dedicated group of faculty, staff, and volunteers who both celebrate our rich cultural fabric and believe in the power of understanding to connect us. You went above and beyond with good humor and abundant encouragement, and we are grateful. Thank you!
