Online Registration

Registration for the 2024-25 School Year Opens July 1, 2024

YOU CANNOT REGISTER FOR 2024/25 PRIOR TO THIS DATE

If you'd like to get a head start on registration, you can have your child's doctor complete the WIAA physical form based on their recent physical, or schedule a physical if your child has not had one this calendar year. This will need to be uploaded in the athletic registration process.

Athletic registration is SEPARATE from registration for school/academics. Please read the following information.

The following information will outline what you need to register for athletic participation at Brookfield Central.  All athletes are required to have the required information and signatures on file online (click "Online Registration" button above to access site) and receive a clearance email prior to participating in any capacity.  This includes practices, scrimmages, and competition. No papers will be received at the athletic office; all registration is online!

A.  Medical Clearance

Prior to participating in any tryout, practice, or event your student must have a current WIAA physical form signed by a doctor and guardian on file.  A WIAA physical is valid for 2 years from the exam date. The required physical form can be downloaded from the athletic page on the BCHS website or picked up at the athletic office at Brookfield Central (located on the wall in a wooden paper filer). Please upload during the athletic registration process. A PDF file works best for uploading.

B.  Eligibility

Athletes must meet the eligibility requirements established by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association in order to compete for Brookfield Central. Athletes and parents are required to electronically sign the online form indicating their understanding and compliance with the rules of eligibility established by the WIAA.

C.  Activity Code

It is a privilege to represent the Lancers in competition.  All student athletes are required to sign the Elmbrook Activity Code prior to participating with our programs.  This code is on the RSchool registration document for you to sign. Please review the code with your students and be sure all the expectations and consequences are clearly understood.  The contract with student and guardian electronic signatures must be on file prior to participating with our programs.

D. Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Form

In 2012 a new state law was passed concerning sport concussions.  Before a student may participate in practice or competition, a concussion information acknowledgement online form must be electronically signed by both parent and athlete.  This is part of the online registration. Parent Agreement is linked here. Athlete agreement is linked here. A Concussion Fact Sheet for Parents linked here, and Fact Sheet for Athletes is linked here.

E. Clearance Email

For each sport season a clearance email will be sent to you and a listing of those cleared will be given to the head coach before participating in tryouts (cut sport) or practice (for non cut sports).  The email is sent when all forms (physical/alternate year, concussion and WIAA card) have been completed online.  Nothing needs to be turned into the athletic office.

F. Activity Fee

All athletes must pay the district required $80 activity fee each year before participating in competition for Brookfield Central for the year 2024-2025. All athletic fees are billed through Infinite Campus after the team rosters are set (after tryouts, typically after the first week of practice).
