Origami Introduction: Discuss the expectations for the Origami project.
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes
1. Origami Swan
2. Origami Fish Color paper on one side-use color side up.
3. Origami Frog Color side down.
4. Origami Butterfly Color side down.
5. Origami Lotus Flower Color side down.
7. Origami Dinosaur Color side up.
Objective: Students will learn the history of Origami and how to create it. Use symmetry & Geometry, folding techniques, cooperative learning and multi-cultural awareness.
Assessments: Students can discuss the origin & history of Origami and demonstrate how to make an Origami piece. Students work well together, help each other with the Origami project and create Origami shapes.

Dates: From Monday, February 7th until Friday, March 11th
Activities:
1. Daily Doodle.
Objective(s): Understand the folk art and history of stained glass. Use sharpies and clear acetate paper to create designs and enjoy as faux stained glass.
Assessment(s): Stained glass designs and final project.
