本フェローシップでは、研究の卓越性（Excellence）と社会展開力（Extension）を兼ね備えた「未来社会の開拓者」、すなわち高度な専門的知識の上に、他者との協働を可能にする展開力、新しい社会と産業を創出するデザイン力を身に付け、世界や地域が抱える多様で複雑な問題を、持続可能な将来像を持って解決に向けて取り組むことができる総合力を持った人材を育成します。

【Extension】（4つの能力）

• DX・AI推進力: ITやAIに関する知識やDXを正確に理解し、それらを自らの研究に応用できる力

• 課題抽出・解決力: 自らの研究や社会の課題を抽出し解決する力

• 社会連携共創力: 自らの専門研究分野と異なる研究分野の融合や、外部機関との協働を通して新たな価値を創出する力

• 国際コミュニケーション力: 多様な立場を持つ研究者やステークホルダーとコミュニケーションする力

• 主体的研究力: 知のプロフェッショナルとして発想した研究テーマを推進し実行する力

Image of EXEX Doctoral Fellowship Students 

EXEX Doctoral Fellowship encourages the Fellowship students to become “Pioneers of the future society” with the “Excellence” in research and social “Extension” skill, who have the ability to work with others and to create new society and industries, based on their high level of expertise. Fellowship students are expected to acquire comprehensive abilities to solve the diverse and complex issues the world and regions are facing with a sustainable future vision.

4+1 skills needed as the Pioneers of the future society

【Extension】(4 skills)

• DX&AI Promotion Skill： Skill to understand IT and AI knowledge and DX accurately, and to apply them to their own research

• Problem Identification and Solution Skill： Skill to identify and solve problems in their own research and society

• Social Collaboration and Co-creation Skill： Skill to create new value by integrating research fields different from their own and collaborating with external organizations

• International Communication Skill： Skill to communicate with researchers and stakeholders with diverse perspectives

【Excellence】(1 skill)

• Independent Research Skill： Skill to promote and execute research themes conceived as knowledge professionals

■ カリキュラムの概要 / Outline of Curriculum

未来社会の開拓者に必要な能力として挙げられているもののうち、普段の研究活動では身に付けることが難しいExtensionに分類される4つの能力については、確実な修得を促すためのカリキュラムがあります。

カリキュラムは必修カリキュラムと選択必修カリキュラムに分かれています。

1. 必修カリキュラムと選択必修カリキュラムを履修して必要ポイントを習得する

2. ポートフォリオシステムに入力する

3. ポートフォリオシステムから履修報告をする

• 本学の大学院入学以降（修士、専門職学位、博士、6年制学部の5-6年生含む）、フェローシップ採用前の活動も修了要件に含めることができます。

• 令和6年4月より前にDX博士人材フェローシップまたはアンビシャス博士人材フェローシップとして採用されていた学生の参加は任意です（必修や選択必修の要件は課しません）。

• 在学採用で採用期間が1年もしくは6か月の場合は、必修カリキュラムは免除します。
  選択必修カリキュラムについてのみ、以下の期限までに履修してください。

• ９月修了の場合７月末

• ３月修了の場合１月末

Among the skills needed as the Pioneers of the future society, 4 skills are classified as Extension, which are difficult to acquire through everyday research activities. In order to encourage the acquisition of these skills, the Fellowship students have to take both Compulsory and Compulsory Elective Programs.

1. Earn required points by taking Compulsory Program and Compulsory Elective Program

2. Update your Portfolio

3. Submit Curriculum Point Report

• Activities after entering Graduate Schools of Hokkaido University (Master, Professional degree, Doctor, also including 5th and 6th grades of 6-year undergraduate programs) are also recognized as your earned points to meet completion requirements of the EXEX Doctoral Fellowship.

• For the fellowship students selected as the DX Doctoral Fellowship and the Ambitious Doctoral Fellowship before April 2024, it is voluntary to take the Compulsory Program and Compulsory Elective Program.

•  Fellowship students newly selected as the EXEX Doctoral Fellowship and have less than 1 year remaining period of Fellowship states at the time of the selection are exempted from the Compulsory Program.
  Please complete the Compulsory Elective Program by the following periods.

• Completion of the graduated program in September： by the end of July

• Completion of the graduated program in March： by the end of January

■ 必修カリキュラム ／ Compulsory Program

4つの能力「DX・AI推進力」「課題抽出・解決力」「社会連携共創力」「国際コミュニケーション力」についての底上げを目指します。

The purpose of the Compulsory Program is to enhance the level of 4 skills: “DX&AI Promotion Skill”, “Problem Identification and Solution Skill”, “Social Collaboration and Co-creation Skill,” and “International Communication Skill”. 

必修カリキュラムに含まれるプログラム：

上記のプログラムを構成する授業科目・活動において、合計３ポイント以上を取得してください。

3ポイントには、選択必修カリキュラム（共創教育プログラム、海外共修プログラム）で取得したポイントを必ず1ポイント以上含んでください。

取得したポイントはポートフォリオシステムへ入力してください。
入力方法は、ページ下部のポートフォリオマニュアルを参照してください。

なお、必修としている３ポイントはあくまでスタートラインです。

各自、自身に必要な能力や興味のあるプログラムへの参加を通じて、可能な限りオープンバッジの取得を目指してください。

Please include at least 1 point earned from the Compulsory Elective Programs (Co-Creation Education Program, Overseas Co-Learning Program) within 3 or more points.

The required 3 points are just a starting point.
Please participate in programs you need and are interested in, and get as many Open Badges as you can.

■ 選択必修カリキュラム ／ Compulsory Elective Program

選択必修カリキュラムは、「研究室から外へ」をコンセプトにした教育プログラムにより自身の研究を社会展開する活動の推進を意図しています。

Compulsory Elective Program is intended to promote activities to extend your own research to society through educational programs conceived “from the lab to society”.

選択必修カリキュラムに含まれる教育プログラム：

 Programs included in Compulsory Elective Program

「共創教育プログラム」と「海外共修プログラム」のいずれかで１ポイント以上を取得してください。

取得したポイントはポートフォリオシステムへ入力してください。
入力方法はページ下部のポートフォリオマニュアルを参照してください。

Please earn 1 or more points from the Co-Creation Education Program or the Overseas Co-Learning Program.

■ 履修モデル ／ Sample Curriculum

■ 履修期限 ／ Curriculum Completion Deadline

履修期限は原則として以下のとおりです。

• ３年課程：２年次終了まで

• ４年課程：３年次終了まで

上記の期限までに要件を満たせない場合は、最終年次に確実に履修できるように、履修計画書を提出いただきます。

詳細は対象者に別途ご連絡いたします。

在学採用で支援期間が1年もしくは6か月の場合の選択必修カリキュラム履修期限は以下のとおりです。

• ９月修了の場合７月末

• ３月修了の場合１月末

Compulsory Program and Compulsory Elective Program should be completed the following periods in principle.

• 3-year doctoral program： by the end of 2nd grade

• 4-year doctoral program： by the end of 3rd grade

In case of not being completed within the above designated period, the study plan should be submitted in order to complete the programs in the last grade year. Details will be provided for those who need to submit the plan.

Fellowship students who are newly selected as the EXEX Doctoral Fellowship and have less than 1 year remaining period of Fellowship states at the time of the selection should complete the Compulsory Elective Program by the following periods.

• Completion of the program in September： by the end of July

• Completion of the program in March： by the end of January

■ 履修報告 ／ Submission of Curriculum Point Report

上記の期限までに修了要件を満たし、ポートフォリオから履修報告してください。
随時、申請を受け付けます。内容を確認の上、原則として２週間程度で認定可否のご連絡をいたします。
報告方法はページ下部のポートフォリオマニュアルを参照してください。

Please submit a Curriculum Point Report when you have completed the Compulsory Program and the Compulsory Elective Program within the designated period through your Portfolio.
Curriculum Point Report will be received at any time.
You will be notified approval/disapproval of your report within 2 weeks in principle.
