Statement of Intent: Some people are worried about speaking to others about their problems. My photos, through digital manipulation articulate the main scenario of not being able to talk, and feeling as though you’re alone. The series of photographs aim to explore pains, melancholy and mental suffering. Shea Glover and Katie Crawford were two very big influences on my photographs, as they also revolve their work around mental health.
