Samden Jurmey Dema, a talented student from class 7A, emerged as the proud winner of the Storytelling Competition in the class 7 category, organized by Bhutan Echoes. During the award acceptance statement, Samden expressed her inspiration behind choosing "Dema" as her storytelling theme. She revealed that her beloved grandpa shared this beautiful tale with her. The story revolves around the importance of cherishing nature and caring for all living creatures that inhabit it. Through the story, she learned the invaluable lesson of safeguarding and promoting our precious ecosystem.

Kuenlee Yeshey Wangmo, a bright student from Class 8F, exhibited her storytelling talent at the same competition, representing the school in the Dzongkha category. Although she didn't secure the top position, the school takes immense pride in her participation. Kuenlee's story, titled "Thili Gyem," delved into the consequences that arise from a lack of understanding and hasty reactions driven by anger. The narrative touched upon the importance of patience and thoughtful decision-making, which can prevent deep regrets in life.
