Samtse LSS organized an enlightening School Parenting Education Awareness (SPEA) program aimed at armed force families. The program provided parents with valuable knowledge on positive parenting, incorporating both spiritual and scientific perspectives. Topics covered included child protection, teenage pregnancy prevention, and substance abuse awareness. During the SPEA program, presenters shared practical tips and strategies to enhance communication and understanding between parents and their children. Samtse LSS believes that by equipping parents with the necessary knowledge and resources, they can play a vital role in their children's academic success and overall well-being. The school looks forward to organizing more such initiatives to strengthen the bond between families and the educational community. The school remains dedicated to empowering its community by fostering a nurturing environment for students.

To foster digital creativity among students, an engaging and exclusive training session was organized. The program comprised four sessions, each focusing on a unique digital skill: Chrome Song Maker, Tinkercad 3D Designs, Micro:bit Coding, and Drone Coordination. Participants had fun creating a phone ringtone for themselves, designing a 3D printable key chain, coding the Micro:bit device to display their names, and even indulging in a game of toppling stacked plastic cups through drone coordination.

Today marked the beginning of the Student Resilient Development Program (SRDP), which is being led by our committed School Wellbeing Team. The primary objective of this program is to provide students with essential skills and knowledge necessary to tackle challenges with resilience. Through a combination of theoretical learning, skill-building exercises, and practical experiences, we aim to empower our students to not only survive but thrive in the face of adversity. The SRDP is designed to strengthen their resilience and equip them with the tools needed to overcome any obstacles that come their way.

On the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of the Late His Majesty the Third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, schools and institutions throughout the country come together to mark Social Forestry Day, a day dedicated to promoting environmental conservation. As part of this annual celebration, Samtse LSS took the initiative to plant Arecanut trees around the school campus. The planting of these trees not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the surroundings but also contributes to the preservation of the ecosystem. By engaging in such activities, the school aims to instill a sense of responsibility and love for nature in their students.
