Understanding by Design (UbD)
Understanding by Design (UbD) is a framework that clarifies desired learning outcomes and then works backwards to plan assessment and instruction. Sturgeon Public Schools will use both UbD and UDL to ensure clarity of instruction and universal accessibility for all learning. Together these models will ensure we continue to strengthen student achievement.
