VPN（学外利用）

学外でネット利用する際に、端末を新領域のネットワーク(学内ネットワーク)に仮想的に接続してネット利用できます。

大学を経由して通信を行うため、学内専用情報にアクセスできます。
注意）図書館が提供する電子ジャーナルやデータベースの学外利用には、全学サービスのVPN (EZproxy)を利用してください。

中国ではGoogleやFacebook等がフィルタされていますが、大学を経由することで、日本国内と同様にアクセス可能になります（中国での規制は流動的なため、接続の保証はできません）。

VPNを使用すると端末と大学間の通信が暗号化されるため、盗聴などの危険から通信が保護されます。

You can virtually connect to the GSFS network from outside the campus.

You can access the university’s community-restricted information via the university network.
Note: Use the campus-wide service VPN (EZproxy) to access electric journals and data bases provided by the library.

Although access to Google, Facebook, etc. are blocked in China, you can access them via the university’s network as you can in Japan, although the access is not guaranteed since Chinese restriction is uncertain. 

VPN communications between your computer and the university network are encrypted. Therefore they are protected from the risks of eavesdropping, etc. 

中国のインターネットは国によって情報統制されており、海外の検索エンジン、SNSサイト、ニュースサイトが規制対象になっています。また、通信内容が検閲されている可能性があります。

渡航前に、日本国内でSMA (SSLVPN)とPacketixのソフトウェアをインストールし、動作確認を行って下さい。両方を設定しておくことをお薦めします。

中国国内の通信規制は日本から確認できないため、VPNが動作するか現地で確認して下さい。両方のVPNを試して下さい。

VPNが使用できなかった場合は、情報システム室に接続試行日時、場所、VPNの種類をお知らせ頂けると助かります。

The Chinese government controls the Internet in China, including foreign search engines, social networking sites, and new sites, and they may censor your electrical communications.

We recommend installing both SMA (SSLVPN) and the Packetix software and confirming operations before you leave Japan for China.

Since you cannot check communication restrictions by the Chinese government in Japan, check if both VPNs function correctly when you arrive in China.

If you cannot use VPN, please inform the Information System Office of the date, time, location, and the type of VPN you tried to connect.
