ループの発生

居室内の情報コンセント同士が、ケーブルやハブを介して接続されるとループが発生します。ループが発生すると、ネットワークのトラフィックがそのループの中を回り続けながら増殖するため、深刻な通信障害が発生します。情報システム室からループの発生を通知された場合は、速やかに発生箇所を切り離してください。また、突然ネットワークがつながらなくなった、あるいはつながりにくい等の症状が発生した場合には、ループの可能性を検討してください。

How a Loop Occurs

Loops occur when information outlets in a room are connected via cables or a switching hub. The network traffic circulates and multiplies within the loop when loops occur, causing serious communication failures. If the Information System Office notifies you that a loop has occurred, immediately disconnect the cable etc. where the loop occurs.  If the network is unexpectedly disconnected or interrupted, a loop may have occurred.
