不正なソフトウェアのダウンロードおよび使用の禁止

不正なソフトウェア（いわゆる海賊版ソフトウェア）の使用を禁止します。不正にダウンロードされたソフトウェアには、ウイルス等のマルウェアが感染している事例が多数報告されており、これらによる学内外へのさらなる感染拡大の危険性があるためです。

Prohibition of downloading and use of unauthorized software

The use of unauthorized software (so-called pirated software) on official or privately owned personal computers (PC) is prohibited. Unauthorized software downloads may already be infected with computer viruses or malware, and there is an extremely high risk that the software may be the cause of infection.

ソフトウェアライセンス利用規約の確認の徹底と違反行為の禁止

• 研究室主宰者は、ソフトウェアのライセンス利用規約を把握し、その内容を研究室の構成員に説明・伝達してください。研究室でライセンスを購入したソフトウェアを、規約外のPCにインストールする行為を禁止します。個人所有のPCにインストールする場合は、許可されているユーザー数を確認の上、研究室主宰者の許可を得てください。

• ライセンス利用規約は、それぞれのソフトウェアで異なるため、添付されている文書の条項をよく読み、規約を遵守してください。

• ベンダーはインターネットを通してソフトウェアの使用状況を外部から常時監視しています。ベンダーからライセンス利用規約違反の通報を受けた場合は、部局CISO（最高情報セキュリティ責任者）が研究室主宰者に聞き取り調査を行います。違反が認定された場合は、ベンダーから追加料金や違約金を請求されるほか、情報システム倫理委員会において審議されます。

• 本学へ異動・就職・入学した方へ：前所属のライセンスに基づくソフトウェアは速やかにアンインストールしてください。

• 本学から異動・退職・卒業する方へ：本学のライセンスに基づくソフトウェアは速やかにアンインストールしてください。

Thorough confirmation of software license terms of use and prohibition of acts in violation of software license terms

• The principal investigator (PI) should be aware of the software license terms, and explain and communicate the contents of the terms to the laboratory members. It is prohibited to install software for which a license has been purchased by the laboratory on a privately-owned PC in violation of software license terms. If you wish to install the software on a privately-owned PC, please confirm the number of permitted users and obtain permission from PI. 

• The license terms and conditions differ for each software, so please carefully read the content of the attached document. 

• Even if the software is normally operating, the vendor always monitors the usage of the software from the outside through the Internet. If the vendor reports a violation of the license agreement, the  Chief in the Information Security Officer of GSFS will investigate PI. The vendor will be charged an additional usage fee or penalty if a violation is found. Moreover, the matter will be discussed by the Information System Ethics Committee.

• Please uninstall the software based on the license of your former affiliation, and do not use it.  

• After your transfer, resignation, or graduation from the University of Tokyo, please uninstall the software based on the University of Tokyo's license.
