To navigate this playbook, start by completing a district Self-Assessment Tool and Rating Review Protocol. These tools will help you evaluate your district's current data practice and determine which section(s) of the Playbook to dig into first.
Once you've assembled a district team (see the Playbook Overview for more information), use the Self-Assessment tool to evaluate your district's current postsecondary data practice and identify areas of improvement. The button below will make a copy of the self-assessment tool that you can use with your team.
After completing the Self-Assessment Tool, convene your district team to discuss the results. The Rating Review Protocol will guide your discussion, help your team set priorities, and identify which section(s) of the Playbook to dig into first. You'll want to start by ensuring your district has a strong foundation of Data Leadership before moving on to Data Infrastructure and Data Use.
