Metrics & Goals

LEA explicitly identifies Postsecondary Priority Metrics, establishes quantitative improvement goals for each metric at the LEA and school levels, integrates these goals into district priorities, and regularly monitors and reports on progress toward these goals.

Best Practices

• The district has set five-year quantitative goals for at least one metric in the Preparing, Applying, and Enrolling categories.

• The district translates postsecondary outcome goals into school-level targets and/or gap-closing targets.

• The school board publicly discusses district performance and reports on progress toward goals through public-facing reports or dashboards that are updated annually.

• The district engages partners to set community-wide postsecondary and workforce outcomes goals.
