Data Leadership is the foundation of effective postsecondary data practice. When leaders signal that they value postsecondary outcomes in how they define district strategy, set goals, and allocate resources, they make it possible to develop coherent data infrastructure and strong data use related to those outcomes. When postsecondary data is not available, accurate, or used, gaps in the building blocks of Data Leadership can be the root cause.
