Student Growth Measure Overview

The Student Growth Measure (SGM) process follows the national Student learning Objective model. The SGM is a measurable, focused, academic centered goal that describes what students should know and be able to do at the end of an interval of instruction.

Why implement the SGM Process?

Research has shown that using data to set goals for student growth leads to greater academic growth and performance by students. The model provides a way for teachers to measure student's progress while improving their instructional practice. Our goal here on the Academic team is to ensure student academic success and to support educators as they strive to grow professionally.
