During recess, you can see kids running around and kicking the ball to the nets, while others are trying to steal. Soccer is popular and an important sport at Menlo Park School.
In many schools, soccer is popular because it is challenging. The challenges are in having to score in the goalpost and being careful in preventing someone from taking the ball. Some people say they do not play because they might get hurt when a soccer player is pushed or kicked, while the goalie
may get hurt when he or she tries to stop the ball from scoring in the goalpost.
Soccer is important in school because students want to play, and they love soccer. “You can spend time with your friends,” said Sanjay.
I love soccer because it can be challenging for the brain and body, and it can be fun because you can play with your friends. Even your parents might want you to play so it can tire you out a bit. Overall, soccer is a great sport to play.

The Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League. It has been the final game of every NFL season since 1966. Since 2022, the game has been played on the second Sunday in February.
Winning teams are awarded the Vince Lombardi Trophy, named after the coach who won the first two Super Bowls. The Lombardi Trophy costs $50,000 to make, and it is priceless for people.
The game was created as part of a 1966 merger between the NFL and the American Football League to have the best teams play against each other for a championship. The first four Super Bowls from 1967 to 1970 were played before the merger, with the NFL winning two and the AFL winning two. After the merger in 1970, the 10 AFL and three NFL teams formed the American Football Conference. The other 13 NFL teams formed the National Football Conference. All games since 1971 have been played between the best teams from each conference.
Since the first-ever Super Bowl, the NFC has led the AFC in wins 29–28. The most Super Bowl games won by a team is tied at 6. Those 2 teams are the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers. Tom Brady helped the New England Patriots win 6 Super Bowls, while Terry Bradshaw led the Pittsburgh Steelers with 4 Super Bowl wins.
There are 12 teams with zero Super Bowl Wins. Those teams are the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota Vikings, and Tennessee Titans.
The Super Bowl is one of the most-watched sporting events worldwide with 113 million people watching and usually has the biggest audience among all broadcasts. An
average commercial takes 30 seconds and those 30 seconds of commercials can cost a person $7 million!
Over the years, there have been Super Bowls that are remembered to this day, but there are also Super Bowls that people may not have even known happened. So going down memory lane, we can see the 3 best and most notable Super Bowls.
The First Super Bowl: Packers vs Chiefs
On January 15, 1967, the Green Bay Packers played the Kansas City Chiefs. The Green Bay Packers were beaten 35-10 at Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles. Sixty million people watched the Super Bowl on television. By halftime, the Chiefs kept it close only losing by four. But the Packers kept tearing open the Chiefs team as the game continued. When the game was over they had won the first-ever Super Bowl, 35-10. Green Bay’s star quarterback Bart Starr was named MVP.
This year’s Super Bowl XLVII is between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. This year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show presents Usher. It is a Super Bowl Rematch, and it is one of the best Super Bowls we have seen in years.
Super Bowl XLII was the New England Patriots vs the New York Giants. The game was played on February 3, 2008, at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. New England was heavily favored to win the game but the Giants defeated the Patriots by the score of 17–14.
Super Bowl XLIX was the New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks. The Patriots won 28-24. It is known as the most famous Super Bowl as the Seahawks decided to throw an interception on the goal they could have run the football with star running back Marshawn Lynch for the win.
Overall the Super Bowl is a fun event for all football fans nationwide. Now you will watch the next Super Bowl. It might make history or it might be a bad game. Either way, the Super Bowl is fun for everyone.
