Have you ever wanted to run faster than the speed of sound and have enhanced strength? Then you have come to the right place. Sonic the Hedgehog is zooming by at the speed of sound! Sonic's back in action again after his hugely successful first movie. This time around, the enemies are tougher, the stakes are higher, and Sonic's running faster than ever before!
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is the sequel to the first movie. It was released on April 8th and is rated the most popular movie in the world. It is about how Sonic finds the master emerald and protects earth from Dr. Eggman. For people who don’t know, Sonic is a small blue hedgehog that came to earth to escape from other creatures on his planet that were after the master emerald. The master emerald is the source of ultimate power and controls the seven chaos emeralds. The emeralds allow Sonic to cause chaos control which is powerful enough to destroy anyone and anything in his path.
The movie picks up from the ending of the first movie, where Sonic sent Dr. Eggman to the mushroom planet. A tribe of Echidnas arrive at the mushroom planet and with them is Knuckles. Knuckles has incredible strength and can destroy anything. Knuckles brings Eggman back to earth and forms an alliance to destroy Sonic. Sonic’s earth parents, Tom and Maddie, go to Hawaii for Rachel’s wedding, and Sonic stays at home.
Sonic has a lot of fun doing anything and everything he wants, even when the power goes out late at night. But, all of that ends when he gets a knock on the door because when he opens it, he sees that it is Dr. Eggman and Knuckles. Knuckles punches Sonic through the wall of the house. Before he can punch him again, Tails drives Tom’s police car and tells Sonic to hop in. Tails is a small yellow fox with two tails that he uses as propellers to fly around. Sonic and Tails both team up and they start their search in the Arctic for the magic compass which will lead them to the master emerald.
When they find the compass, Eggman snatches it and before they can escape, they are met with an avalanche. Sonic calls Tom on his cell phone and asks him to use a portal ring to help them to escape. The portal rings give Sonic the power to teleport to the location of the portal ring. When Sonic and Tails teleport to Hawaii, they are captured by the government agents and locked up. But Rachel and Maddie break them out of their cages. That is when they see a green light in the middle of the ocean, which was coming from the master emerald. Sonic runs across the sea and finds the emerald. The catch is Eggman stole the emerald and used it to build a giant robot to destroy Green Hills and the world. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles team up to stop the robot, but don't succeed.
You may be wondering if Sonic gets the master emerald and does he manage to destroy the robot to save the world from Dr. Eggman? Why did Knuckles, who has a pact with Dr. Eggman to destroy Sonic, end up teaming up with him? This is where we are going to end this as we don’t want to spoil it for you. You’ll have to watch the movie to find out what happens in the rest of the movie!
After the end credits, we see a scene where it mentions Project Shadow, which means we might see Shadow the Hedgehog in the third movie in 2024. I’m expecting the exciting Sonic saga to continue in 2024, picking from where it ended in this movie!

What is Wordle?
You have probably played Wordle or heard about it on the internet. Wordle is a word-guessing game where you get six tries to figure out what the five-letter word is. Once you enter a word, the letters will either turn green, yellow, or gray. Yellow means the letter is in the word, but it is not in the right place. Green means it is in the word and in the right place, while gray means it is not in the word at all. Wordle is playable one time a day, and then, a new word is generated after midnight.
So It Is A Word Game, What’s The Big Deal?
But it is extremely popular. In November 2021, Wordle had about 90 players, but a few months later, it exploded in popularity with over 2 million players, according to The New York Times.
Why Wordle is so Popular, According to Psychology
Thi Nguyen is a philosophy professor at the University of Utah. According to Newsela, this is what he thought, ‘The cleverest bit about Wordle is its social media presence," he wrote on Twitter.
“‘The best thing about Wordle is the graphic design of the shareable Wordle chart. There's a huge amount of information — and drama — packed into that little graph.’"
Lee Chambers is a psychologist, who studies the human brain. He says that playing Wordle activates various parts of the brain, such as reasoning, logic, and language. He also said that playing games like Wordle make our brain release a chemical called dopamine. Dopamine is a chemical that makes us feel happy when accomplishing something. In Wordle, all players want to reach the same goal, to guess an unknown 5-letter word in the least amount of tries possible. This also means it can become extremely competitive and everyone shares a common experience.
How Wordle has Affected our Community
In our school, Wordle spread fast. After unpacking their items, they would immediately grab their laptop and type “Wordle” on their web browser. After students started playing it, the Internet sensation found its way to teachers, like our Newspaper Advisor, Mrs. Snee. Eventually, from the family's homes, it went to schools, then whole towns, states, countries, continents, and finally the world!
Tips And Tricks For Wordle
After all this talking about the game, let’s give you some tips to be decent at the game.
Start with ADIEU or AUDIO to eliminate as many vowels in your guess.
The bottom of the grid will show a digital keyboard, which shows you the letters that are available, or not in the word or right spot; this helps you find which words make sense based on the letters that are left.
When making a guess – not the first – use the letters in the word already and then place the remaining letters in random places. This works!

You are probably wondering right now, does the author even know the proper use of grammar??? I DO know by the way. I TOTALLY FUNNIEST is a book by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein.
It is the third book in the I FUNNY series, so you might want to read I FUNNY and I EVEN FUNNIER first. It is about a boy named Jamie Grimm, who is in a wheelchair. He is very funny. Jamie has advanced through to the next part of the “Planet’s Funniest Kid Comic” competition. Meanwhile, a hurricane strikes Long Island, where he lives, and Judy Nazemetz, one of the competitors, has to return to Oklahoma City to help her injured dad. I’m not going to tell you any more details because you need to go read it yourself!!! P.S. Judy’s LYING…
The book has 305 pages, so BEWARE. This is good for serious readers and readers who want to stretch themselves. Those of you who are still attached to picture books and thin chapter books, READ IT IF
YOU DARE. This has middle school content in it, so read with caution. If you hit something that is disturbing to you, stop reading. Maybe pick it up again when you are older. I did that with the book 11 to 12. Don’t read that either. Besides all of this scary stuff, itś a good read because it is funny and interesting.

For this, you will need a piece of paper, a pencil, an eraser, and something to color with. Your drawing may not look exactly like mine, but that’s okay. Just have fun!
Draw the guide lines in the center of the paper.
2. Draw the lower half of the face.
3. Draw two vertical lines of equal length parallel to the guide above the lower half of the face.
4. Next, draw two curves attached to the vertical lines. Like this.
5. Then, draw slightly slanted lines connected to the curves. Like this. These are the eyes.
6. Draw curves inside the eyes and eyelashes.
7. Draw lines of equal lengths in each eye and draw a curve in the middle of the lines.
8. Now, draw highlights in each section of each eye & color the top part black.
9. Draw the top half of the face.
10. Erase the guide lines the best you can.
11. Draw messy bangs.
12. Draw a nose and mouth.
13. Draw the hair in a ponytail. You can draw the hair down if you like.
14. Make the chin smaller or bigger if you want.
15. Lastly, color any way you want.

Do you wonder why everyone talks about Bruno from Encanto? Well, not for some random reason. There are many reasons everyone talks about Bruno even more than the main character of Encanto. There are some small events from the movie Encanto that lead to almost everyone talking about Bruno. It all starts with a song.
It starts with the “We Do Not Talk about Bruno” song. In that song, they say, “We do not talk about Bruno,” which makes everyone curious, and they talk about Bruno. In the song, it says, “Always left Abuela and the family fumbling.” It also says, “grappling with prophecies they could not understand.” It makes you curious about Bruno's life. But, barely does the movie say anything about Bruno's life.

We all have plans for the New Year and want to be able to follow them. New Year’s resolutions can help with that. You can set multiple goals you want to achieve this year which can help you throughout your life. We can make New Year’s resolutions by being aware of our daily routines and adjusting to that. We will share some tips on creating good resolutions.
By being aware of your daily routine, it is easy for you to create your own goals for the year. You can make long-term goals for things such as your schedule or for work. When you are aware of your routine, you can also easily adjust to it so you can follow your New Year’s resolutions. You can also make New Year’s resolutions by being aware of your problems. While making resolutions, you should make sure that you will work towards your resolutions. For example, if I want to earn $20 by the end of the week, you should work towards that goal instead of ignoring it.
If you think you have a daily problem or a problem that comes often, you can try to find a way of fixing it. For example, if I never have enough time to eat breakfast in the morning, I will adjust my schedule so I can fix this daily problem. You not only have to make a resolution, you also have to follow it as well. To do this, you may need to adjust times in your schedule. If you don’t follow a routine or schedule, that may just be one of your resolutions. You don’t have to have just one resolution, you can have many resolutions about many different topics.
Some resolutions you can make are setting specific times for, studying a little extra after school or even spending some time outside. You can set a goal like spending more time on practicing your instrument. This is a good goal because practicing your instrument every day is a good habit and will improve your playing skills. The goal can be even more clear by adding how much more time you want to spend on that activity.
One important thing to remember while making a resolution is to set a goal that you can achieve. If you set a goal too large, you probably might not be able to achieve it by the end of the year. An example for this type of goal is “I want to get $1,000,000 by this year.” It is definitely not easy to earn this much for a student, and it would take a very long time to achieve this goal.
Another important thing when you are setting a goal is to not get too overworked while trying to achieve your goal. In our example of a bad goal, you are making yourself too overworked and you spend less time paying attention to your other goals which might be more important.
Remember to make goals you think are possible to achieve. We hope you have fun making and following your New Year’s resolutions!

If you are reading this, you definitely know how to move around, dig, place items, and all of the basics in Minecraft. This is a list of five things you should do and not do.
NEVER, I mean NEVER, dig straight down. You can’t get back up to the surface. There might be a lava trap, too.
2. Lava buckets are awesome fuel. A bucket of lava in a furnace will last a long time, so you can cook and smelt all you want.
3. Wooden slabs are flame resistant. If you want to build a base or house made of wood but don’t want your beautiful creation to burn, use wooden slabs.
4. Get a pet dog and cat. You can tame ocelots with fish to be cats and tame wolves with banes to be dogs. Creepers are afraid of cats, and skeletons are afraid of dogs. They help a lot.
5. Zombie-proof your base and/or house door. Zombies can break down your door. There are two options. Place your door one block higher so zombies can reach. Another option is to put a gate instead. Zombies can’t break down gates, and you can attack back without becoming hurt.

Are you looking for a good book? One which will make you cry and laugh? Here are four amazing books that are going to be a little sad and a little mysterious, so if you like comedy – though you might get a laugh out of these – maybe you should find another article.
First, we have Wonder by R.J. Palacio. This book is about 10-year-old August Pullman, who has Treacher Collins Syndrome, which affects how your face looks. It’s about how Auggie deals with his first year in middle school. This book is a real tearjerker, with bullies and true friends. In the end, I think you’re going to love this book because it’s funny, sad, suspenseful, and overall, a wonderful book!
Next, we have Counting by 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan. This book is about 12-year-old Willow Chance who is struck by a tragedy in her family. It is about how she deals with it, and how she changed. This book has been recommended by my teacher and friends, and so far, it is one of my favorites!
The Harlem Charade by Natasha Tarpley is an amazing, suspenseful book about three completely different people. Jin, Alex, and Elvin band together and try to solve a mystery in their neighborhood of Harlem. If you like mysterious books, you are going to love this one. This book is definitely not a waste of your time!
Finally, we have Patina by Jason Reynolds. This book is about 12-year-old Patina (Patty) who faced some pretty big tragedies in her family. The book is from Patty’s point of view. She’s on the track team, helps her sister Maddy, and hates her school, Chester Academy. This is an amazing book and part of the series Track.
