The College offers Sciences as T/A/M courses. Students may also participate in Additional Science activities as listed on page 42. Science Society is offered as an R unit for students who are interested in pursuing science and medical related careers.
Students are encouraged to work independently and are given experiences to develop observation and experimental skills, and the opportunity to apply knowledge in practical situations. The courses prepare students to meet the recognised prerequisites for study in science-based professions as diverse as Environmental Science, Forensics, Engineering and Medicine. Students looking to careers in science-based professions should seek early advice to ensure that they have the appropriate enrolment package.
Students who intend to study Science at University should enrol in at least one T science course such as Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Environmental Science or Biology.
