The Canberra College, in partnership with ACT Education & Training Directorate, ACT Health and significant government and non-government community agencies, provides education and support programs for pregnant and parenting students and young carers in the ACT and surrounding districts. A purpose-built facility is located at Canberra College: CCCares.
CCCares provides a best practice model for pregnant and parenting students to access education in the ACT. CCCares offers the Senior Secondary Certificate, goal-oriented learning packages, online learning, vocational education, and employment skills.
In past years, the program has won numerous awards.
CCCares operates every weekday in an open-plan learning environment. We have classrooms, kitchens, playrooms, sleep rooms, change rooms, a medical suite, a gymnasium, and outside play areas on site.
