The Double Barrel Pinch Pot
The Double Barrel Pinch Pot
Since you cannot have a clay sculpture more than the thickness of your thumb, at risk of your work exploding, we will be learning one approach to ensuring that you don't make your sculpture too thick. This method is called the double barrel pinch pot method. It does take a gentle approach, and your being present with the clay and what stage it's in. If you can't figure it out, get creative and find a way to create something.
If it's too wet- leave it alone for a bit checking on it periodically.

If it's too dry- Spritz it with a spray bottle with only water, or drape it with a damp but wrung out paper towel.
