You will complete yours in your sketchbook, please do your best to include color, and your goal (unless it's just way too personal). Be prepared to insert an image of your Daruma design into a shared slideshow for next week.
Since you cannot have a clay sculpture more than the thickness of your thumb, at risk of your work exploding, we will be learning one approach to ensuring that you don't make your sculpture too thick. This method is called the double barrel pinch pot method. It does take a gentle approach, and your being present with the clay and what stage it's in. If you can't figure it out, get creative and find a way to create something.
