We will use our blind contour drawings that were created from observation, and then creatively and expressively manipulate them to make them into an expressive and unique final product.

The word Art comes from the word Artifice. Many cultures don't have a separate word for art making, as it just blends seamlessly with life. In western cultures we do separate art from life. Art and artifice stress creative skill or intelligence, but it also implies a sense of falseness and trickery. Art generally rises above such falseness, suggesting instead an unanalyzable creative force inspiring emotion and thought in viewers and makers.
You will be given two grades. A quality grade, and a presentation grade. Your Quality Grade is over the quality of the artwork, and your presentation grade is over how well you digitally present your work in the class slideshow. You will still turn in your final works to the class folder so they may be displayed physically on campus, but this is separate from how you are graded.
Quality Grade: Attachment in Google Classroom
Presentation Grade: Collaborative Slideshow in Google Classroom
