Modified Contour
Drawings, Continuing to learn to see and not just look.
Modified CONTOUR DRAWING
Objective:
We will create modified contour drawings to help build our hand eye coordination and observational skills.
What is a Modified contour drawing?
Modified contour drawing is a drawing exercise very similar to blind contour, where an artist draws the contour, or edge lines of a subject. This time the artist looks may look at their drawing, but may only draw while looking at their reference. And again, for our purposes, we will do our best not to pick up our pencil that often.
