Canva
Canva is a powerful design and publishing tool, allowing you to create visually stunning designs for any subject. You can create your own designs from scratch, or choose from a library of 1000s of templates you can customise.
You can use Canva FREE by visiting canva.com and signing in with your school Google account.
To unlock all of the PREMIUM features, your teacher needs to sign up for an Educator account and then create a class that you are added to. You can then use all of the features including the background remover, resizing tool and man y more templates.
1) Visit canva.com
2) You can use it without logging in by clicking DESIGN and choosing what you want to make (e.g a poster) or by clicking TEMPLATES. If you are not logged in, it will not save your work.
3) To save your designs. Click LOGIN (or SIGN UP if it is your first time using it) and choose CONTINUE WITH GOOGLE then enter your school Google account address and password.
4) It is LOADS EASIER to start with a TEMPLATE and makes your designs look really great. Click Templates and then what kind of thing you are making, e.g. POSTER. Scroll through until you find a design you like. You can change the text, font, images and colour to make it your own.
5) To share your design. Click SHARE and then you can get a link for people to edit or view or you can download your design
6) You can download your design in loads of different file types. If you are going to PRINT it choose PDF PRINT and if you want it as an image, choose JPEG or PNG
