Resizing images: Sometimes, the images you add in your document may not be the right size so you have to make them bigger or smaller.
Click on the image - you will see blue squares (anchors) appear on the image.
Click on a corner anchor and drag out on a diagonal - this will keep the image ratio the same and not stretch the image too wide or too tall.
Formatting images - in line or wrap
Click on the image - you will see blue squares (anchors) appear on the image.
Click on the wrap text button. Text wrapping means that any image inserted in a google doc will have the words adjusted to 'wrap' around the image. You can move the image easily and place it where it looks best in your doc.
By default all images are inserted in line, meaning that the text moves above and/or below the image.
Cropping images - when you crop an image, you remove a certain part of the image that is not needed.
Click on the image - you will see blue squares (anchors) appear on the image.
Click the crop icon in the toolbar.
Drag the black lines around the sides until you have cropped out the part you do not want.
Click the Enter/Return key on your keyboard to save your changes.
