There are 3 main sections in Google Classroom: Stream, Classwork and People. But what do you find in each section?
Stream
Stream
Stream shows a stream of interactions or announcements and sometimes also things that have been posted in Classwork (this will depend on the settings that your teacher has set).
Often you will have the ability of asking a question about or adding a comment to posts on the stream. Remember that EVERYONE within your Google Classroom will see your comment (including your teacher) so make sure that your comments are appropriate, polite and necessary - teachers turn off students ability to comment if they are just writing 'Hi'
Classwork
Classwork
As the name suggests, this is where you will find the Classwork set by your teacher, which includes assignments, questions, quiz assignments and materials.
Most teachers make it easy for you to find the work you are looking for by posting under Topics e.g Maths, Reading, Timetables...
Scroll down to the topic that your work will be nested under.
The People tab shows who has joined your Google Classroom. From here you can also email your classmates or teacher.
