ACT, PreACT 10, & PreACT 9 Testing- Thursday, April 9th THIS Thursday, April 9th, is ACT and PreACT testing for all Freshmen-Juniors. Students should report directly to their assigned testing room when they arrive to school on the 9th. Testing room rosters are posted throughout the building, and all students with testing accommodations were emailed their testing room information before break. Please bring your FULLY-CHARGED chromebook to your testing room, and leave cell phones, smart watches, and all other electronic devices in your lockers during testing. Students are permitted to leave school after testing ends on Thursday -- no parent excusal required. Students who need to take the bus home will have study hall in Commons until the end of the regular school day at 3:30pm. Seniors do not have school this Thursday, 4/9. 

Upcoming College & Military Visits Tuesday, April 21st, a representative from the University of Illinois Springfield will be here during homeroom in the Town Center. Thursday, April 30th, a representative from Iowa State will be here to meet with interested students. Sign up for homeroom visits outside of C5.

FAFSA-- Class of 2026 Graduation Requirement: The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) became a graduation requirement for all high school students in Illinois in 2021-2022.  Illinois gives families two options for meeting this requirement: 

1) Families can complete the 2025–26 FAFSA OR; 

2) Families can opt out of the FAFSA by completing the ISAC FAFSA Nonparticipation- Official Opt-Out through the Illinois Student Assistance Commission's website
