ADDITIONAL DUAL CREDIT OPTIONS
During the 2021-2022 school year, high school learners who are able to be accepted into ICC may, at their own cost, take an ICC course or courses that may count for DHS High school graduation requirement(s).Additional college classes (at ICC and other institutions) can be taken for dual credit with prior approval from your high school counselor. The student will be responsible for filling out the Dunlap High School Dual Credit Confirmation Form. Classes that are listed on the IAI (Illinois Articulation Initiative) general education class list and which coincide with a high school graduation requirement will be accepted as satisfying a high school requirement including core course requirements. All financial responsibilities including, but not limited to, transportation, course tuition, fees, enrollment, application, and materials are placed upon the student seeking approval.
Upon completion of the class, the student must provide their counselor with an official transcript from the post-secondary institution.
Additionally, CTE Courses and programs that can be found at ICC.org will count for high school elective credit. Also, non IAI classes offered at community colleges may count as a high school elective credit if approved by the high school counselor, by completing the Dunlap High School Dual Credit Confirmation Form.
