Chromebook Return All students should return Chromebooks after finishing with your finals UNLESS you are taking summer school classes or have a DHS summer assignment. If you finish finals on Wednesday or Thursday, please return your Chromebook to IT, who will be stationed at the front of the building, by the auditorium entrance. If you are taking a summer school class, YOU MUST KEEP YOUR CHROMEBOOK for that class.

Summer Office Hours: DHS Summer Office Hours begin Tues, May 26th. The DHS main office is open Mon-Fri 8am-2pm throughout the summer, excluding holidays. DHS Counselors work sporadically throughout the summer, so for any immediate needs or questions, please contact the main office at 309-243-7751.

Current Junior intern opportunity Caterpillar is currently seeking 4 E4L students (incoming seniors) for the 2026–2027 school year to fill Global Dealer Learning Intern positions in Peoria, Illinois. Students with hands-on experience or coursework in mechanical, automotive or electrical fields are strongly encouraged to apply: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in gaining real-world industry experience with a global company while building professional and technical skills.
