Toys at School: Parents, we ask for your support in keeping toys at home unless your child’s teacher has specifically requested otherwise. Recently, some toys have been brought out in the gym and cafeteria before school, which has created some distractions and challenges. Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth and focused start to the school day!
A couple of school arrival reminders:
Please drive slowly and carefully when entering and exiting our parking lot during drop-off. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we appreciate your caution as everyone arrives at school.
Student drop-off begins at 7:10 a.m. Please do not drop students off before this time, as staff supervision is not available until then. If you arrive early, we ask that parents remain with their children until 7:10. Thank you for helping us keep all students safe!

2025-26 DSISD Student Handbook / Code of Conduct: The Dripping Springs ISD Student Code of Conduct for the 2025-26 school year was approved by the Board of Trustees at the August 25th board meeting.
The DSISD Student Code of Conduct and Student Handbook are complementary documents with the Code of Conduct providing detailed policy and the Handbook providing general guidance. These documents are updated annually to provide updated policies, guidance, and clarity. Parents and students are encouraged to review the documents to understand expectations for student behavior.
Some notable changes to the 2025-26 Student Code of Conduct include the DSISD Personal Communication Device Policy and consequences which were adopted in accordance with House Bill (HB) 1481 as well as updates to teacher removals and discipline consequences in accordance with HB 6.
If parents or students have questions regarding non-discipline topics, the Student Handbook is a helpful resource. This document contains information on topics from attendance to student IDs to graduation requirements.
