We have had a great first few of days of school! The students are right back into the swing of things and are already jumping into learning. Thank you for all the support you have given your students and our campus to help us have a wonderful start to the school year!
BELL SCHEDULE: Our Bell Schedule has changed—please see the updated times below! For safety reasons, students should not be dropped off before 7:10 a.m., as staff will not be outside to supervise before then. Thank you for helping us keep our Tigers safe!
FAMILY COMMUNICATION: You already know what an amazing school we have and how fortunate we are to have the dedicated professionals we do in this building. We need to share that we’ve asked our staff to take care of themselves this year. This includes the grace of a 24-hour policy regarding communication. You can expect a response to your initial communication within 24 hours during the work week. Any (non-emergency) communication received over the weekend will be addressed the next school day. Emails received after 4:00 p.m. may not be responded to until the next day. Emails received during instructional time may not be responded to until grade-level conference time, after school, or the next day. We appreciate your support of our incredible teachers and staff!
TRANSPORTATION CHANGES: Please do not email same-day transportation changes to the classroom teacher. Communicate with the front office any transportation changes by 1 pm to cses.receptionist@dsisdtx.us.
EATING LUNCH WITH STUDENTS: We encourage families to wait until a few weeks into school before coming to join your child(ren) at lunch. This time allows students to gain some independence in the cafeteria as well as allows us some time as a campus to establish routines and expectations. Thank you for your support!
BIRTHDAY TREATS: Families are welcome to bring a birthday treat for their child to school. Refer to your child’s teacher for guidance on treats and allergies within the classroom. Please note that to maximize instructional time, parents will not be permitted to bring the treat to the classroom. Students may bring it in or parents may leave the treat at the front office to be delivered to the classroom by our campus staff.
UIL (Grades 2-5): UIL Registration opens September 4th - September 19th. To find out more information about UIL and its' events, go here.
DSEF: Support the Dripping Springs Education Foundation! When You Support, Your Teacher WINS!
Join DSEF as a sustaining member with a monthly pledge, and your child’s teacher will be entered into a drawing for a $250 Amazon gift card! Visit https://bit.ly/DSEFgift or our website, Dseducationfoundation.org, for more information.
CSES Mission: We Trust! We Accept! We Persevere!
We look forward to seeing you at Meet the Teacher!
