The cooler weather reminds us that change brings growth—and our students are showing so much of it this fall! We are thankful every day for their enthusiasm and curiosity, and for the wonderful families who make our school community so strong. Thank you for sharing your children with us and for all the ways you support CSE!

Show that reading is valued at home—keep books and magazines within reach, read aloud together, or have a quiet “family reading time.” When kids see adults enjoying reading, they’re more likely to see it as something enjoyable too.

JROTC Student Led Military Club proudly partners with Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps to help raise toys and money for Austin children. We are grateful for the support of all the schools in DSISD and the many local businesses and neighborhoods who host boxes and promote this great cause.
Host locations will collect toys from Oct 1 - Nov 25 and then military club students will collect all the toys and organize them at the high school. The Marines will pick them up in the first week of December and distribute them to families in need throughout the month of December.
The Dripping Springs High School BEST Robotics team will be hosting the regional competition on Saturday, November 22, in the DSHS competition gym. Have you ever wanted to see a robot open a gate, turn a knob, and sort objects faster than a human? The DSHS BEST Robotics team earns points for attendance! Come see area teams compete in multiple rounds from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can also meet the teams, learn how the teams approached the challenge, and collect some swag.
