In my classroom observation, I demonstrated proficient use of Mother Tongue, Filipino, and English to facilitate teaching and learning. Music 6 used English as a medium of instruction. However, due to the unfamiliarity of some students to musical terminology, I used another language, which is Filipino, to let my learners understand the discussion well to facilitate learning and to achieve the desired learning outcomes. For example, to further explain concepts, contextualize some examples, either through word substitution or the use of local names and expressions.
