T&CR Activities
Activity 1: Improvisation Games: Encourage your learners to participate in one of three different improv games outlined in the activity guide - Join In, Lump of Clay, or Yes, And.
Activity 2: Everybody is Doing It: In groups, encourage learners to identify solutions to solve a series of problems that arise frequently.
Activity 3: Positive Posters: In groups, have learners watch videos to learn about different, common, situations they might find themselves in working in industry. Afterwards have them create posters with de-escalation techniques.
Activity 4: Acting Out: (Complete after Positive Posters) Using the corresponding materials, have learners review the conflict cards and see what would have transpired to create the scenario. (written activity)
Activity 5: Cardboard Pinball Machine: Using the corresponding materials (the design cycle), have learners create the a pinball machine working their way through the design cycle (Extra materials required)

MM1: Mirror, Mirror: Learners become each other's mirrors, learning to work together to create identical motions. (Active)
MM2: Putting it Together: Groups of 8-10 learners will work together to create the shape of an object like a cat, or a car. (Active)
MM3: A Puzzling Problem: Learners need to work with their group and other groups to solve a puzzling situation. (Active; requires puzzles - can be handmade from cereal boxes)
MM4: Successful Still Live: Learners need to recognize colors and pay close attention to detail in this artistic rendering. (requires crayons, paper, and various materials)
MM5: Emoji Battle: Learners have to create fun emojis to battle the angry ones and find ways to help de-escalate. (requires markers and large white paper)
MM6: Solve It: Learners have to work together to solve increasingly difficult puzzles and challenges. (requires puzzles and brain games)
