Problem Solving Activities
Activity 1: Need to Know: Using the corresponding materials learners will learn to prioritize information and streamline outcomes for different work based problems.
Activity 2: Chain Reaction Machine: Think Rube Goldberg, but with an twist. Learners will use what they have and what they don't know they have to find creative solutions to simple tasks. (requires materials)
Activity 3: Pros and Cons of the Matter: Learners will learn to make pro and con lists for authentic company problems that are presented. They also learn to defend their decisions while still hearing feedback.
Activity 4: Up for Debate: In this fun activity learners are paired up with debate cards (found in the corresponding materials) and given chances to play either pro or con - even if it's not how they think.
Activity 5: Identify the Problem: Using the corresponding materials learners have to identify what the problem is and the best way to solve it!
