Decision Making Activities
Activity 1: Pandemic Changes: Having learners reflect on changes that were made as a result of the pandemic and allowing them to consider better options is a great way to prepare them for heavy decision making, more than just which shoes to wear!
Activity 2: E-Sports Tournament: Who doesn't want a video game tournament? Using the corresponding materials, have learners design a tournament, learn their constraints, and build out the future of fun.
Activity 3: Relocation Brochure: In this activity learners are being relocated for their jobs, given 3 places how will they choose which is the best?
Activity 4: Finding Feedback: Using the corresponding materials, learners will learn how to give and take feedback from a variety of methods.
Activity 5: Which is Best?: Learning to hear different perspectives and see different options is the name of this game as learners work together to find the best way to complete a task and achieve the expected outcome.

MM1: Dice Decision: Using a set of to play a mock game of Yahtzee that has learners make decisions before they roll!
MM2: Expert Advice: Use learner passions to develop a rationale behind purchases.
MM3: Would you Rather: This game of would you rather focuses on how learners make job related decisions and focuses on authentic examples instead of whimsical decisions.
MM4: Best Tool for the Job: Learners need to make quick decisions and effectively use the tools in front of them to beat other teams to the finish. (Active; requires materials)
MM5: Party Food: Let's plan a party! Learners need to ask questions, take feedback, and engage with their "clients" to help plan the best party with the best food.
