David and Kate here, and we would like to tell parents about our adventure on day 1. We left on a delay despite the inconvenience we had this morning. The ride over was fun, we listened to music and we had lots of fun with Mr.Schuhmann driving. We started our day at the Manitou cliff dwellings and then we headed to the Airbnb. Our Airbnb is a very nice place consisting of plenty of space and activities, we have a game room in the basement and a hot tub in the backyard that have already been used lots of times. We had fellow students cook our dinner, tonight we had barbecue chicken, salad and cornbread. Overall the day was really fun and everyone can't wait for the next four days!
Oliver and Nora reporting. The first place we went today was Cave of the Winds. There we got a tour of the caves. We were walked through the cave system while learning the history of them. We learned who discovered it, who expanded the cave, where it got its name, the different parts of the cave, and what the original tours were like. After the tour we went through a cave crawling game and then we went onto a trampoline tower which had a slide on the top to go down. We had lunch there and then we headed to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We had a guided tour through the exhibits, learned about the animals that the zoo had, and we had the opportunity to touch a Bornian short-tailed python. At the end of the tour we got to feed the giraffes that they had. After the tour we went back through and saw the animals that we hadn't seen before. We headed back to the AirBnB and had spaghetti for dinner. We had fun today.
Greetings from Eli (and Cooper was also here a little bit). Today we left our AirBNB and went to a cabin in Buena Vista, but before getting to our cabin we went to learn all about wolves at The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. We learned that there are very few wolves left in the wild. After that we went onto the bus and we were going to go on a hike but it became very cold and snowy very quickly so that was postponed.
