The Boston winterim is at the airport getting ready for their evening flight! Excitement is high!
Life in Boston hasn't changed as much as you might think. The tour guide at Fenway pointed out how the fans want to keep things the same and unchanging. It was cool to be at Fenway, the oldest baseball field in the world. They had one red seat, marking where the longest homerun ever hit landed. We also went to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, where they are not allowed to move a single painting due to the will of the woman who created it. The museum was filled with old and new pieces that represented history.

It was really interesting to see all the people who came to the Celtics. They had lots of energy rooting for their team. It was really cool.
Standing at the site of the Boston Massacre was very interesting, seeing how close it was to all the things that happened to lead up the American Revolution. We had seen it pictured in a famous cartoon in history class, and it was impressive how similar that was to reality.
It was fun to walk around the city. It's a lot busier than Boulder, but that can be fun too. We went and got cannolis, comparing Mikes Pastry to Modern Pastry, but most of us could only eat one. Mikes was the winner!

We toured Harvard, and it was bigger than we expected. There were lots of buildings from a long time ago next to new buildings and lots of construction.
We also went to the MIT Museum, building our own robots and learning about AI through lots of fun exhibits.
Last, we used our brains to take on 3 escape rooms, and every team made it successfully!

We toured some historic houses and buildings in Salem. It was cool to see things from back in the witch trials. We also got to go to the beach to see the ocean in Boston.
In the past, they saw witchcraft as bad as murder and a lot of people got killed for it. In most countries back in the day magic was banned, but folk magic was still used. Even when the law bans things, people still do what they want, which is still true to this day.
It was interesting how so many things have not changed in Salem. Even though they don't kill witches, the buildings are the same and things feel the same. So many stories and history were all so close together, in a tight packed area.
