What a wonderful week we’ve had! Our students and staff have been working hard, and it’s been great to see so much positive energy around campus.
We have a couple of exciting events coming up, and we’re also gearing up for STAAR testing, which begins this week. We hope everyone enjoys the 4-day weekend and has a chance to rest and recharge — once it’s time to come back ready to ROCK the STAAR!
As a reminder, our next PTO meeting will be held on April 14th at 6:00 PM in the library. We’d love to see you there and appreciate your continued support.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our STAAR Parent Workshop today—we truly appreciate your partnership and support!
For those who were unable to attend, we’ve shared the presentation slides and wanted to highlight a few key reminders and tips from the session:
-> We have a four-day weekend coming up—yay! While we hope you enjoy the break, please help your child maintain a consistent routine. We return on Tuesday, and the next day, Wednesday, is our first STAAR test (Reading).
-> On testing days, we begin promptly to ensure students have the maximum time to complete their test. Please help by making sure students arrive between 7:30–8:00 AM for breakfast. We begin transitioning to testing at 8:15, so there is very little flexibility with timing. Your support in getting students here on time is incredibly important.
-> Keep things positive and encouraging at home. Our students are working very hard, and your encouragement makes a big difference in easing test anxiety. Simple things like taking a walk, offering words of motivation, and celebrating their effort can go a long way.

Our Spring Parent Survey is now open! Dallas ISD is asking parents to share their opinions about their child’s school and other important topics to help improve our schools and district overall.

Spring Events Update
This past Saturday’s Dance was such a fun and successful event. We loved seeing our community come together and our kids having a blast!
Since events like this require tremendous planning and volunteer support to run smoothly, we’ve made the tough call not to include Wheelie Fun Night in our Spring calendar of events this year. We’re excited to share that there are still plenty of fun community events planned this Spring! We hope to see everyone at all of the upcoming PTO Spring events!

Summer Breeze combines academic acceleration with creativity, exploration, and enrichment while also supporting students’ social and emotional well-being. Whether strengthening skills, meeting important learning milestones, or discovering brand new interests, students stay engaged through interactive activities that make learning feel like an adventure.
