Dear Families,

We have so much to celebrate!

First, Kindness Week was a wonderful success! Thank you to our students, staff, and families for helping spread positivity, compassion, and encouragement throughout our campus. It was inspiring to see so many acts of kindness in action.

We would also like to officially welcome Ms. Opitz to our school community and we are so excited to have her on our team!

Quick reminder that there will be no school on Monday, February 16th. We hope you enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back here on Tuesday ready for another great week.

Black History Month — Week 2 Highlights

This week, students are learning about five inspiring leaders who made important contributions in education, science, athletics, agriculture, and the arts. These highlights are designed to spark meaningful conversations at home.

🟢Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama is a lawyer, author, and former First Lady who promotes education, healthy living, and confidence in young people.

BHM showcase - February 27th

🗣️Volunteers Needed!

Our BHM Showcase is Friday, Feb 27 — this is also our Spring Concert, featuring group and individual student performances, an art gallery, DJ, surprise giveaways, and a special guest appearance!

It takes courage to stand on stage, and our students have been practicing hard. We want to make sure the spotlight shines brightly as they showcase their talents.

Spring Events Update

This past Saturday’s Dance was such a fun and successful event. We loved seeing our community come together and our kids having a blast!

Since events like this require tremendous planning and volunteer support to run smoothly, we’ve made the tough call not to include Wheelie Fun Night in our Spring calendar of events this year. We’re excited to share that there are still plenty of fun community events planned this Spring! We hope to see everyone at all of the upcoming PTO Spring events!
