5th Student Research Congress

The Department of Hospitality Management would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to our undergraduate researchers: Lorelyn P. Ducay, Abishag T. Enmel, Mark Vincent Capanayan, and Camille Rey Gallego, along with their adviser, Dr. Joan L. Fortuna.

They will be presenting their research virtually at the International Food, Agriculture, and Veterinary Sciences Congress, scheduled for May 29-31, 2025, at Konya Food and Agriculture University in Turkey.

Mabuhay! The Department of Hospitality Management Program congratulates our students who received a notice to present at the 2nd International Congress on Sustainable Agriculture based in Aigir University, Türkiye, on March 4-5, 2025.

The researchers are Famela A. Foyo, Bernadette I. Fillartos, Cristine Angeli T. Mangampat, and Jane M. Balubar, with their adviser, Mr. Klenton R. Torrevillas, MIHM.

Mabuhay! The Cavite State University Carmona Hospitality Management Program congratulates our research teams that presented their paper as well as our esteemed faculty, Mr. Klenton Torrevillas, MIHM, for successfully presenting his paper at the 2nd International Congress on Advanced Research and Applications based in Sivas, Turkey last September 20, 2024, through Virtual Conferencing.

The students who presented were Aira Fajilagmago, Marie Jean Argete, Franchesca Kakilala, Jenny Semaña, Angelica Pasahol, and Bianca Tabaosaris. They are joined by their respective advisers Mr. Klenton Torrevillas, MIHM, Dr. Joan L. Fortuna, and Mr. Dan D. Ardemer.

After winning two Best Technology Posters and 3rd Best Technology Pitcher last IP Expedite 2024, the 2 Hospitality Management-led Inventions will be featured this September 5, 2024, at the CvSU International Convention Center during the Think-Talk 2024: Innovating Tomorrow Through Technology Pitching that gathers 13 brilliant inventors and 13 innovative technologies in one big opportunity as announced by the Cavite State University - Knowledge Management Center Facebook Page.

Among the 13 featured technologies, 2 are from Cavite State University Carmona and both are prototyped by Hospitality Management faculty members and students.

Cavite State University - Carmona joins the KainCon 2023 at Jose Rizal University yesterday, April 4, 2023, to present three (3) undergraduate research studies.

Mr. Dan Louise Ardemer presented the "Empanada Stuffing: Saba Banana Musa acuminata × balbisiana) peel as an alternative to meat" by Mark Louie B. Rebuyas, Alexandria R. Asis, and Venus Z. Rayos. Mr. Nathaniel Tolentino presented the “Utilization of Black Rice Flour in Salvaro Bread" by Grace D. Gayo, Lira C. Jalico, and Erika P. Tabalan. Prof. Joan L. Fortuna presented the "Utilization of Malabar Spinach (Basella alba L.) as the flavor of Muffin" by Hazel Amoranto, Krishna Licmuan, and Zairrel Jan B. Tidoy.

The advisers would like to thank Cavite State University - Carmona headed by Dr. Cristina M. Signo, the Department of Management headed by Prof. Maria Andrea Francia, the parents, and the student-researchers for making it to the presentation.

Students from BSc in Hospitality Management presented their exquisite and innovative Product Development Proposals today, November 24, 2022.

The panelists of the proposal defense were members of the Faculty of Hospitality Management: Mr. Dan Louise Ardemer, Prof. Joan L. Fortuna, Dr. Prof. Gretchen Macaranas, Mr. Marvin D. Sibucao, and Mr. Nathaniel Tolentino.

Student Researchers, 2 research studies from the Faculty of Hospitality Management, Cavite State University - Carmona Campus will present at the first-ever International Culinary And Tourism Conference Based In Turkey This October 27-28, 2022.
