STUDENTS & RECREATION

PASTOR SPENCER KINKADE

It is hard to believe, but another month has come and gone. A big thank you to everyone who participated in our Pray For Me Campaign Mixer. As your Student Pastor, it brings me so much joy to see all of the different generations coming together to fellowship then pray over our students.

Our Wednesday night series for Student Worship this month is Big Questions: Questions That Leave A Mark. During this series, our students will learn that the questions they ask and answer help to determine who they are and who they become. Our questions, answered or unanswered, lay the foundation for the life we live. Questions are good, but we have to know what questions to ask and where to find the answers. Students will learn how to courageously ask hard questions and how to wrestle with the answers that Jesus gives. They will realize that questions leave a mark on our lives.

In this study, students will explore the following four elements of questions in life and faith:

  • March 4: Let the Questions In: Students will learn that having questions is not a sign of immaturity, but a way that our faith grows.

  • March 11: Live the Answers Out: Students will understand that answers need feet, and how the answers are a starting point, not the end goal.

  • March 18: Trust the Truth: Students will learn that we can trust how Jesus answers our big questions because His way is the truth.

  • March 25: Go All In: Students will understand that when we ask big questions and get trusted answers, we can pour out our lives to the fullest in service and worship to Jesus.

A very important date to remember is Sunday, March 29. This is the deadline to secure your students' spot for camp this summer. Students will be going to Student Life at Orange Beach (AL). The date for camp is June 23-27, but we will most likely be leaving on Monday, June 22 to break up part of the trip. More details to come in the following months. A $60 deposit is due to secure a spot.
