KIDS CORNER

It is that time of year again when everything starts to wake up and grow. Spring is on its way: everything feels fresh and new. We have an opportunity as a church family to start something fresh to help our community focus on Christ this Easter. We are going to host THE ENORMOUS EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA family event on Saturday, April 11 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.

We will have activities for every age group, including a toddler area, gaming systems, GaGa ball, nine square, Nerf-gun wars, corn hole, jousting, archery tag, an inflatable slide, and a bounce house. It will be a time for the entire family to come have a great time, get some food, and hear the true meaning of Easter during a Gospel presentation.

You are probably thinking, “That sounds great, but how are you going to keep people from leaving, so they have a chance to hear the Gospel?” This is where we need your help! We are asking are each Adult Sunday school class to put together one themed Easter basket. We will be coming to your Sunday school class with a list of different themed basket ideas (such as zoo, movie, legos, etc.). Each class will choose one to assemble. We will collect the baskets Sunday, March 29. We will draw for winners of the Easter baskets at the end of Easter Extravaganza.

Even if you aren’t currently involved with a Sunday school class, we still need your help! We need manpower to help with different activities, registration, and serving food.
