This course was offered live on May 7th, 2020. In this course I discussed three keys to teaching students how to be authentic communicators: (1) using a silent prompt hierarchy that is specific to AAC, (2) providing tons of aided language input and (3) data collection. Throughout, I emphasize the joy that authentic communication brings, and the language science that can help us get there. The recorded version and slides are available to you below.
