Meet our AAC & AT team!
Hello! I'm so excited to join the CVUSD team in the 24-25 school year! I am one of two new AAC Specialists (augmentative and alternative communication). Together, we will provide AAC support and services for the entire district. I'm a Bay Area local and attended California State University East Bay right down the road in Hayward for my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. I love to travel, and have lived in Germany, Australia, and Switzerland! When I'm not traveling, you can find me taking walks with my Dachshund Mr. Bingley or playing board games.
I am the other AAC specialist joining CVUSD in the 2024-25 school year, and I'm also excited to be joining the team! I'm originally from Southern California, but I got my Masters of Education in Speech-Language Pathology at San Jose State, and now live in Livermore with my husband and 1 year-old girl. I'm mostly a homebody and when I'm not working, I enjoy video games, watching tv/movies, and drawing. Or I guess, I would be enjoying those things, if my daughter was not constantly demanding that we go outside, no matter mommy's preferences or what the weather is like.
Greetings! My current roles at CVUSD entail Assistive Technology Specialist (ATS) and Occupational Therapist (OT). I provide AT for the entire district, and I serve our middle and high schools as the secondary OT. I graduated with my clinical doctorate in OT from Pacific University. I later went on to earn my Assistive Technology Specialist certificate from the CSUN Assistive Technology Applications Certificate Program (ATACP). I’m originally from Washington State and moved to the Bay Area in 2017. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, yoga, kayaking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my husband and son.
