With a reflection in four parts by ministers on the Conference theme, "An Invitation to Love and Justice," the Sunday service includes vibrant music, the Conference Choir, a multi-generational story, and readings. The Sunday offering will be given to three charities, selected by the First Unitarian Church of Hamilton and affirmed by the CUC Board of Trustees:
The Sunday Worship will be followed by a child dedication ceremony, and all ages are invited to stay and be a part of nurturing future UU generations.
The Sunday service will be livestreamed and recorded - details to follow.
The Bridge - with Rev. Lynn Harrison, musician and UU minister: The Bridge is an open mic with a worship feel that draws on UU traditions, art, music and poetry. In addition to musical offerings, The Bridge presents inspiration from a wide range of sources and lifts up the spiritual dimension of all creative activity. Bring a song or poem on the conference theme “An Invitation to Love & Justice,” and experience the magical open mic that ensues. Find out more about The Bridge in this short video or on their website.
In this annual youth and young adult-led worship, we celebrate the transition between the youth and young communities and recognize those moving out of the young adult age group. This year, the service will take place at the First Unitarian Congregation of Hamilton, where CanUUdle is being held. The bridging worship will not be an official part of the CUC Conference, in order to focus on creating sacred space for youth and young adults together. However, parents, guardians, friends and congregants are welcome to join us at the church for this important ritual. Transportation is not provided by the conference, so we encourage carpooling or taking public transportation (about 30 minutes).
