The Lecture will be live-streamed and recorded. Check back here for details.
The Confluence Lecture is a series sponsored by the UU Ministers of Canada (UUMOC). At each national conference, the selected minister presents a lecture on their topic of choice, usually related to the conference theme.
The 2018 Conference Lecturer is Rev. Karen Fraser-Gitlitz of the Saskatoon Unitarians. She is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister. She experienced the transformational power of Unitarian communities as a young adult. Karen brings creativity and joy to her ministry, and she has a passion for multi-dimensional worship that engages our emotional, intellectual, spiritual and sensory selves. She also brings a background in adult education and a keen interest in organizational development to her work as Developmental Minister at the Unitarian Congregation of Saskatoon.
Karen spoke at TEDx Saskatoon on being a "Stealth Unitarian."
Karen is married to musician, composer, producer and teacher, Paul Gitlitz. They moved to Saskatoon from the west coast and are enjoying getting to know the city, the province and prairie life.
