Gathering with other Canadian UUs of all ages is a pretty cool part of CanUUdle! There are several different multigen events throughout the weekend that youth and advisors will participate in. They all take place at McMaster University, the site of the CUC National Conference, and we will provide transportation back and forth from CanUUdle.
Friday 3:00-7:00 pm - Check In and Opening: CanUUdle check in will be open on Friday afternoon at McMaster. Ahead of the Conference Opening, meet other CanUUdle attendees for icebreakers, nametag decorating, snacks and games. All youth and advisors should plan to arrive at McMaster, unless you are getting in after 7pm (if so, meet us at the Hamilton church).
Friday 6:30-7:45 pm - Conference Opening: The Friday ingathering service is a celebration of being together as a Canadian Unitarian community. Youth and advisors will participate in the opening, and will be "sung out" at the end of the service. At 7:45, we will board buses to the church, where we'll start the CanUUdle weekend.
Sunday 10:00-11:30 am - Sunday Worship: A wonderful conference tradition, the Sunday Worship service brings together Canadian U*Us of all ages for a beautiful, uplifting and spiritual reflection on our theme, "An invitation to love and justice".
Sunday 12:00-2:00 pm - Multigen Lunch: The multigen lunch is a time for all ages to gather, eat and form connections across generations. Youth are encouraged to mingle with adults and sit at tables with people they don't know yet. In 2016, we enjoyed a lively game of "Family FeUUd" that got everyone talking about their favourite hymns and youth con games. What's in store for this year's lunch? You'll have to join us to find out!
Sunday 2:15-3:45 pm - Multigen Workshops: Learn, grow and connect through engaging workshops that are geared to people of all ages. This year, we've made sure that each of the 7 workshops will be welcoming and inclusive of youth - and also fun and interesting! Check out the workshop descriptions on the Streams & Workshops page. Youth and advisors should register for multigen workshops through the CanUUdle Registration.
After the multigen workshops, youth and advisors will board buses back to CanUUdle at 4:15 pm.
